I find it highly unlikely you can tell people what they can do in their own time and with their own money.

Become the public spokesman for both the Polish Union of Satanists and the Polish Man/Boy Love Association, make sure you appear on TV very often (and remember to thank your employer by name for their tolerance of your views) and then see how much longer you work there.

Will also be gossip of your customers.

1. Terminate contract of contractor.

2. Inform employee her lover has a wife and child.

Why ?

3. Find a reason to let both of them go.

See 1 above.

4. Ignore.

Not an option.

5. Sit down with both of them ( accompanied by someone from personnel ). Explain that their behaviour has become company gossip. Ask them to confirm this.

Explain that this poses a risk to the organisation ( reputation, integrity etc ) and that if this risk is realised further action may ensue.

Lets everyone know where they stand and lets the gossipers know that their gossip has consequences and they will need to be accountable for what they are sayin.

^No, he won't sue anyone because he doesn't want his wife to know about his affair. The OP has done the right thing imo.

Our intention is not to stop people gossiping, employees are free to discuss openly.If you create a culture in which openness is not tolerated, at that point the company lose's it's creativity flow.

Tell his wife? Maybe, that is a good idea, if he betrays his wife and child, who else will he betray?

By hitting his pocket, he will automatically have to discuss financial matters with his wife.

Nah, he will rightly sue the arse of you.

He would be very foolish to sue us, the place of the contract is Warsaw and we have deeper pockets than him.

I am certain, I know what the outcome of this saga will be, it would not be wise for me to post my opinion of the outcome, on a open forum until the matter is concluded.
