I know but put a Trini indian there and they would probably find a way to do it! After all, in Trinidad if they can cook it, they'll eat it. Here we have wild meat cook ups. Not just deer, etc but items such as iguanas, horse, manicou (a large rat-like creature) and kiskidee (its a bird - like eating robins).

sounds like me to be honest! :)

as to indian/polish relationships being possible

everything is 'possible' depends on how hard you try to make it work!

Well, vica versa is true. I know at least 4 couple (Indian boy and Polish girl) and most of them are living happily. If this is true then I am sure Polish boy and Indian girl is also possible. But let me remind you something, Indian girls dont like vodka :)

Actually, India is getting very random. I know a friend of mine married to a Indonesian muslim boy. Some families dont have objection while some are quite religious conscious, but it is plausible depending on demography in India.

Peter - Pork shouldnt be a problem, infact I love sausages!

How true. You do find those "traditional" families who will object to marrying "outside". I once dated a Muslim girl. We had a frank talk about marraige and if we were to be married her parents would want me to convert.

And no pork in the house!

How do you know she's happy in India? I think India is a poorer country in Poland. Do you go on vacations abroad to some Western countries?

She is my wife....

I think India is a poorer country in Poland

In which terms,

here are few links plz refer :

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)
(13 India 886,867) (24 Poland 338,689) by GDP

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_relations_of_India
(The Republic of India, the second most populous country and one of the fastest growing economies in the world, is considered as a major power)

No offense Kunalchokshi, but the GDP of India is larger than that of Poland because in net terms, India is a much larger and more populous country. The GDP per capita is the important figure, and reflects wealth per citizen. The GDP per capita or per person in Poland is substantially HIGHER than that of India. The AVERAGE Indian is much POORER than the average Pole.

I am a Filipina, and my boyfriend is Polish and lately we talked about living together by next year. I told him its ok for me to go with him to Poland. But he said we might as well live in Philippines because it will be easier for me. I am not sure why, but as far as I know, there are not much Polish marrying an Asian, particularly a Filipina. So maybe he is concerned how I will do if I live in Poland. While here in Philippines, we are starting to be a multi-race nation. And there are a lot of foreigners, so I guess he thinks he can blend in somehow.

As for the topic, I do not see any issue about Indian marrying a Polish. We are mature people, and certainly we can make compromises/ sacrifices to ensure that our relationship with the person we love will work out.

I just read all the messages below, you have to realize that when you with a girl that means the world to you, things like culture and religion dont even make sense to you. I am Indian and I have been dating a Polish girl for a while, and i am planning on marrying her soon, luckily our parents dont have a problem with it. We are all the same, color of your skin doesnt mean a thing when you are with you love more than yourself. All you need is love and respect for eachother.

I couldn't have said it any better. Nothing will be hard anyway if you will go through it together. This is one thing I learned from this relationship.

guys girls,
if you are worried about how an indian can manage with a polish girl, perhaps one should realize the fault lies in the indian.
The indian sees himself as different, refuses to change his irritating habits like burping after eating hot curry food, believing in the caste system, disapproving western culture, upholding indian values and culture ( in the process giving a thumbs up to corruption, lack of regard for human life, poverty, selfishness ). India as a country has great potential, but the problem is its people still have lots to learn, especially the hindus and muslims and larege mass who live in the villages and smaller towns. Then you have the new urban indan who only wants to stand out from the rest of his countrymen. A complex country full of embarrasing people.

Then again there are too many plumpers in India :-)

another thing, polish girls are beautiful, indians run after everything white, its in the hindu culture. White is good, black is bad, the biggest racial ************* in the world are the Hindu Indians.

Christian and muslim indians are a bit apart I must say.
I am a professor in indian studies and know what im talking about.

Polish guy take care, teh indian girl is the best thing in the world for you rather than a Polish girl who opens her legsevery time she is drunk. Indian girls at least believe in morality.

I am Afro-Asian. I have more indian blood in me and look more Indian I think than black. My boyfriend is Polish and he is the love of my life. An Indian/Polish relationship is 100% possible as is any combination of two different nationalities in this world. I think your remark about Polish women opening their legs when they are drunk is disgusting and totally disrespectful.

Hi, I'm Polish and my boyfriend is Malaysian-Indian.
We are together 1,5 year, living together for a year now. Some things were new to me:
He does meditate and light incense sticks in the house. (Which I think is cute.)
Takes care of his family- sends money every month, takes care of his sister's education etc. In Poland you should respect your parrents and help them but to certain extend- being a son responsible for the rest of the family is unusual.

He also eats meat, including bones- which was disgousting for me at the beginning, but love means compromises :)
One think I have to say is him being extremly clean- many Polish boys I know, haven't been bothered to shave every day or to use perfume, I know that everyone is different, and maybe I had bad luck with Polish guys, but here I see clear advantage.

Considering the alcohol /cigarettes/parties etc we have similar attitude- everything is for people, but you shouldn't make clown out of yourself when you've drunk too much.

I visited his family and obviously I haven't been drinking or smoking in front of them,(neither I exposed my tatoo) but I would take it for granted that from the respect to oloder people/parents many of you would do the same. BEHAVE!

Although I'm catholic and he is hindu, noone from, his family said anything against me or my religion. They were asking questions about how is it and how we do stauff, and I was asking back, so there was a lot of communication between us. (if anyone has any issues about the religion and customs, I'm happy to help).

He was in Poland as well, meeting all my family and again- a lot of communication between him and my parrents, sitblings and friends.
My mum and dad-especially thought that when we get merried he will take me to India (Malaysia) and introduce to his other five wives:), or that he will ask me to stop working and to become a housewife etc... so Imagine how did I feel introducing him on christmass time. But, I can't stress enough... COMMUNICATION is the key, he talked a lot with my dad -who speaks broken English, and with the rest of the family and they got along well. So well, that now my mum asks me when we finally get married:)

To sum up- there is many differences but if both sides want to be cooperaqte and communicate - everything will be all right

You sound like a pseudo. Their is no real certain extent. Poland is not the U.S. where the kids let their parents whither away. My Polish gf cares for her family alot. Their is no limit as long as they love her.

Polish guy take care, teh indian girl is the best thing in the world for you rather than a Polish girl who opens her legsevery time she is drunk. Indian girls at least believe in morality.

You obviouly are a disgrace to India or really dark skinned almost black Indian. I dated many Polish, Indian, Czech, Slovak, Russian, Ukranian, Brazilian, and Latin girls. Even my Indian friends have said Polish girls make or made better girfriends then Indian women.

Guess what the Polish girls were the MOST loyal. Indian girls were good, but some of them were as bad as the American women and were looking only at my wallet.

Polish girls are a billion times hotter then U.S. women. Also Polish girls are alot hotter then Indian women.

Polish girls know how to kiss and they are great when they go for my ear.

i am wondering what is it in the poland that makes the women specifically 'hotter' and 'better' then other women,

is it the food? the way the mum gives birth, the way the child is concieved, the schooling, the dress code, the pierogi, the christmas celebration, the alchohol,

i am just trying to work this out.. it will help us to genetically engineer women that fulfil the polish criteria

Its not too difficult. Most of the women in Poland realize that in order to be a real woman they must be hot and have values.

Also Poland is not like the U.S. Not everyone ownes a car. Public transporatation forces many people to walk. Simple walking burns calories. Yes and they smoke, but thats balanced by the fact that they excecise alot.

Also they dont have the vast amount of fast food we have. Even then, fast food franchises offer more localized meals.

And again the portions of food are small and not big like a tank.

Dziękuję. That was very nicely said.
I, as a Polish girl don't drink, don't smoke, don't "spread my legs around". I value my morality and go to church. I appreciate what I have or don't have and respect the guys.

I don't care about money because you can't take it with you.
There are all kinds of girls everwhere in the world. It doesn't matter what country.
It depends on the person and how she was brought up in the society and family.
There will be bad apples everywhere.
