Do Polish guys not like kissing very much?

I'm from the UK and live in London.

I've been friends with a Polish guy (who grew up in Slovakia) for about 4 months, and a couple of weeks ago we started officially dating. He is very caring, more kind to me than any man I have ever had. But one thing that bothers me is that he never kisses me outside the bedroom- he only kisses me when he is in that horny state in bed. 2 days ago he took me on a very special and expensive date where I put on one of my best dresses, and not once did he kiss me that whole evening.

When we are watching a movie together on his couch, he'll put his arms around me from the side but if I ever try to kiss him, even on the cheek he will move his head away and go 'lol, focus on the movie'. Or he'll say 'oh alright, you're allowed just one' even when I tried to kiss just his cheek! That hurt.

I want to talk to him about it but I know it is difficult to change a person, and it won't be from the heart if it does make him kiss me more. Why could it be?

Maybe you suffer from halitosis. Try a healthy diet, be sure to brush and floss your teeth and visit your GP.

Be direct and ask him what the problem is. If you two are a couple then kissing should be natural and not a problem. Don't worry about losing him if you are direct about this. If he doesn't kiss than he's not worth being your boyfriend.

A guy that does not display affection, or is not "touchy-feely" could be "mis-diagnosed" as cold, but he might be just the opposite, over-sensitive, if you know what I mean.

Or he might be damaged.
Or anything in between.
You figure it out.

Question: Is kissing more/kissing less a Polish cultural thing?

Answer: No.

Case by case situation. Why would you not just ask him?
