Are polish guys always looking for girlfriends?

I have been flirting with a great Polish guy for about 4 months. Then two weeks ago we went out for a drink he got drunk and we kissed. Now he tells me that it was all a mistake since he "Cant do the girlfriend thing" since his life is a mess. When I asked what does your life is a mess mean he tells me that he is planning to return to Poland and that a girlfriend would hold him back.

My friends say that he is lying cause after some flirting and a kiss no guy refuses a girl cause they are afraid of a her turning into a girlfriend in the future. My question is are Polish guys that different from American men where they actually think that far ahead? Or was he just playing around and it got a little out of his control and this was his way out of the situation?

If you are hoping for that, it sounds like he is not really bf material if he is talking like this. He doesn't sound like he wants a gf and who wants to be with someone like that? You would be undervalued and appreciated and you deserve so much more.

Wow, your friends are really misinformed! Of course there are men that think like that. Not all of us are animals! lol

For whatever reason it might be, am sorry to tell you that he just isn't interested. Have a break from dating, then move on to someone else who is into you.

I feel that quite many polish guys are afraid commitment, because they enjoy party and have fun.
I know quite a number of them who are like that..
