I am a Taurus, my dear.Indeed, i'm quite stubborn. my polish bf is quite stubborn as well.He's an aquarian.We respect our attitudes and we work out our differences in some aspect. LOL. I'm sorry, I found this thread very intriguing upon doing some Google search on Polish people in Manila and I couldn't help but registering and finally writing my thoughts.

I'm a young Filipina who lived independently in Poland for almost a year under an exchange program and I certainly have embraced your culture and language. (teraz umiem mówic i pisac po Polsku..gramatyka jest trudna.. ale chyba jest ok...)

Moving on. I was just struck by somebody writing that we, Asians, seem so desperate of cross-mixing our genes with Caucasians. @_@ hey, we aren't the ones who call you people exotic (which is one of the most used adjective I have heard that Polish people use for me..) and being the only Filipina in that town, and only 20, at that, I find what you wrote really, really insulting :/ the people I've known, students and their families, and even a Polish family who adapted me as their own daughter never, ever thought that we are like that. So what's wrong if that Polish guy decided to have a relationship with a Filipino/Asian? They are the ones going out, not you and another Asian. Never, ever generalize. Proszę. Boże...

Just my two cents. I mean, I've always wanted to uplift the image of the Filipina, especially in Europe (and I believe I did that in Poland) and then I read something like this...it just simply breaks my heart.

He's divorced and he need a certificate of no impediment, he asked from the local registrar and they gave him something but its a paper that states he's divorce, is that the correct document? Make sure he isnt using you.most Polish men use woman for greencard and gthey have violent tempers and want a woman to be a certain way. good luck but be careful.

Personally i have to say that if a guy was born in Poland and was grown in Aus. - sorry but he has nothing to do with our mentality !!!

You have to live here to behave like us - i know many people who was just born in Poland or their parents are polish but sorry they have nothing to do with our mentality and behaviour !!!

and yes we do complain about our health system and politics bec we know it can be much better - i understand the viewfrom your point but for us living here is not really an utopia . medicines are expensive, doctors if u want to get really good care in the hospitals you have to pay - its corrupted maybe not so much like in ph. but still

about our guys - you know there are always good and bad people and you cant generalize them i have to say we are workoholics - bec in our mentality in to take care about our family

but no worries only our wife and kids. we dont have to support all family,
bad thing is that waht we say "the best you look with your family is on the photo" is true

I like polish guys,or men,whatever,they are turly as what you'd said.
But I have no ideas about straight guys here in poland,while my boyfriend was really nice,even though we broke up for a couple of months and haven't seen each others,i still miss him.

Some polish guys are quite rude,i guess uneducated,not civilized,act like bastards.....of course many different people in this world,we can't exepect anyone behave according to the noble standards.

Hi Jen, this online experience with a polish guy is surely exciting for you now. Of course PH can also be an interesting place to visit esp we have good beaches and stuff. It's best for u to spend some time knowing him more, and see if you both click. And whether he is telling the truth when he said he will marry you, only u can find a way to know that... I wish you well...

If he is actually taking u to Poland, think about it deeply, as it takes courage, strength, exemplary compromises perhaps and add in determination to be able to live in a foreign land... Esp away from your family.

On the surface, it may look great and fascinating... But if you're uncertain of something in terms of this relationship, it can get more difficult day by day... And life still has to go on... 24hrs a day.
