Would Poles prefer US or UK medical care?

Always amuses me how those gleefully scoffing at the basic concept of fairness,

People who speak about "fairness" tend to be inclined towards socialism.
That wonderful system that provides for all irrespective of what they put into society.
I have news for you my friend, life is not fair, never has been, winner gets all......

Except that there's no fairness even in a socialist/communist society. There's always going to be people with more or less than others. Even in PRL or USSR there was wealth disparity - in PRL that usually depended on whether you had access to US dollars or German marks. If you did lived great, if not you lived like most schmucks in a blok sharing a bathroom with the whole floor.

Of course not!
Socialism/Communism has never worked and will never work because it doesn't take into account human nature.

Milo, for God's sake, don't ever say that at an American campus without an escort.
And I mean SWAT-style guys with AR-15's, not a couple of chicks with big tits.

Don't be silly. Most Americans have absolutely no clue what the difference between socialism, communism and social democracy is. Trump rants publicly that health care for all equals socialism, and his followers believe he's talking about Stalin's USSR. Idiots.

You surely meant most snowflakes a.k.a. liberals. They really dont know what socialism is because they are too lazy to read a book instead of playing video games and hanging out on facebook from their safe zones.

Since you're the authority on healthcare and American politics explain why the stock market had the best opening in 32 years? You kept saying we would all be doomed years ago after Trump was elected. AOC said we the planet will be destroyed in 12 years if we dont pass her New Green Deal. Do you support these cookoo`s as well?

Its sound like TDS if you ask me, better seek help!

And were still waiting for your response on how you would stop the scourge of illegals from entering our southern border.

his followers believe he's talking about Stalin's USSR. Idiots.

His followers actually reject socialism. The problem is with the people like that human brick with lipstick and her followers who believe that they can have free education, free medical care, no ICE, no borders, no fossil fuels, and a guaranteed income for staying home if they don't feel like going to work.

If you ask them where the money to pay for that Utopia is going to come from, they will call you names.

Its not the Trump supporters going around and committing fake hate crimes either.
Among the phony stories:

- An openly bisexual student at North Park University, claimed to be the target of hateful notes and emails following Trump's election in November 2016. NBC News ran with the story. Turned out the student wrote the notes herself.

- A Philadelphia woman claimed in November 2016 that she was harassed at a gas station by white, Trump-supporting males, one of whom pulled a weapon on her. Never happened.

- An 18-year-old Muslim woman in Louisiana claimed in November 2016 that two white men, one of whom was wearing a Trump hat, attacked and robbed her. She made it up.

I could go on, but you get the idea.

Socialism/Communism has never worked and will never work because it doesn't take into account human nature.

Have you heard the latest news from Venezuela? They are on the brink of civil war all because of socialism and the lefty liberals in the USA claim they are going to have a different type of socialism...lol

Oh, he gets alright. They all get it.
Stupid is tolerable. Stubborn is tolerable. It's the stupid and the stubborn in the same head that's a problem with the leftists.

Jussie Smollett was in talks to join a project supporting LGBTQ charities but the organization no longer wants to partner up with the actor following his arrest this week.

Bless their hearts.

Socialism/Communism has never worked and will never work

Truer words were never spoken Milo.
I had a hell of a time trying to explain that here when all the stupid and stubborn Liberals were ganging up on me while they promoted their propaganda otherwise..

They were using this forum to brainwash the youth of the E.U. with Socialism and Marxist propaganda.
Since us old farts showed up and challenged them they have seemed to quietly disappear with their tails between their legs.
That is because Liberals can't debate "facts".
And to get back on topic.......the Health Care System is broken big time in the U.S.A.

Bottom line, folks!

Affordable, adequate to decent Health Care is a BIRTHRIGHT in the US, just as in any other so-called advanced, industrialized, first-world country. not a privilege for the few. About this, "debate" as to the facts, pro or con is not an option.
Rich Mazur  4 | 2894
24 Feb 2019 /  #72
I will make it an option.

As some idiot, against medical research, advice and warnings, continues to abuse his body and requires expensive treatment at the society's expense, when does he forfeit that birthright to dig into my pocket as a taxpayer? Never?

What is the limit we are obligated to spend on a suicidal moron like this? No limit?
OP Lyzko  41 | 9592
24 Feb 2019 /  #73
Once more, not everybody is a drug addict. What's more, the latter are people too.
When you start playing games with peoples' bodies, rationing care, scattered site locations for bread-and-butter basic services,
you know the country's in deep, deep sh***t!

I can still remember the doctor of yore, a middle-aged to older, nerdy, bespectacled gent with bad breath who looked as though he
stayed up nights worrying about his patients.

Make no mistake. The issue is black and white, no gray area here or wiggle room for misguided logic; the above way was the right way,

what passes for medicine today is flat WRONG.

Please, please don't blame things on overpopulation. Every human being is equal before G-d and doctors are there to be doctor, and
not play G-d.

Once more, not everybody is a drug addict.

I didn't mention drug addiction.

What is the limit we are obligated to spend on a suicidal moron like this? No limit?

You ignored this simple question.

You might not have mentioned it, yet it couldn't have been far from your mind! The question is neither simple, nor to my mind, even a question.

There is no "different type of socialism",there is only one.
And it is spelt F.A.I.L...

If you genuinely had grandchildren then you could answer the question yourself by thinking "what would be the limit if it were my grandson ?" Every family has someone with some kind of addiction - booze, drugs, gambling

But sitting in a basement being paid to abuse people gives you a very low level of empathy and little contact with your fellow man. Unless of course you count the tram conductor who has to shake you awake every morning.

what passes for medicine today is flat WRONG.

In the US most definitely. The NHS is cash strapped but at least it affords healthcare for all, as opposed to a system dependent on ability to pay. Healthcare should be available for all, no matter what the circumstance.

paranoia needs urgent medical attention.

So does terminal gullibility :)

His followers actually reject socialism.

That's why Trump and the GOP only have to scream "SOCIALISM", and their followers vote for everything that is against their own interest.

explain why the stock market had the best opening in 32 years

Remember when the stock market went down south a few weeks ago and the idiot goobers blamed the Democratic takeover of the House?

Healthcare should be available for all, no matter what the circumstance.

Healthcare for all and open borders along with free migration are as compatible as restaurants without garbage cans and rats.

As always, the libs are caught up again in their sick desire for have Utopia. Until, of course, they run out of my money.
Then, it's printing or paying doctors 5 bucks an hour. Since doctors are not stupid, the next step is Berlin-style wall so that they can't leave.

Perfect plan. But it always feels good to talk stupid - at least for a moment to virtue signal to the world what a loving and caring person I am.

Hey, Chemikiem, would you donate one of your lungs to an a-hole who smokes and, after years of being told to stop, now has lung cancer?

Many European countries have healthcare for all, pay their doctors well and have higher life expectancy yet lower levels of public debt than the US.

Russia sadly is not one of those countries.

Yeah and now the native citizens have to wait months to get treated while non tax paying kebab gets treated along with their soccer team of parasites. What a great system

This thread has gone several pages being about healthcare - for you as always it's a question about kebabs.
Dirk diggler  10 | 4452
25 Feb 2019 /  #87
It's a legitimate question. Would you give up your access to good healthcare or accept subpar healthcare just so non citizen turd worlders who paid nothing into the system can have the same access as you thereby reducing resources available to citizens and making wait times longer???
cms neuf  1 | 1766
25 Feb 2019 /  #88
Yes I would accept that. When my parents arrived as immigrants they were treated very well and my mother was cared for by the British NHS when seriously ill and through my own difficult childbirth. Karma always comes around.

What is your next question ? I expect when you talk about immigrants you are really talking about brown people ?
Rich Mazur  4 | 2894
25 Feb 2019 /  #89
Yes I would accept that.

You popped that answer for the same reason why dogs lick their balls - because you can. What you so cutely skipped over is this:

Healthcare for all and open borders along with free migration are as compatible as restaurants without garbage cans and rats.

So, genius, how many non-paying migrants are you ready to support with your own cash starting now? None? You are a racist!!!
cms neuf  1 | 1766
25 Feb 2019 /  #90
I was answering Dirks question which was at least half sensible.

How many am I prepared to support it's my own cash ? This is a democracy, and things work a bit different here than in Russia. So we pay tax and it goes into a big pot, and then we elect a govt and they spend that pot, including some as they see fit on immigrants, I don't build sidewalks or equip missile warheads or teach medical students with my own money either.

Most healthcare systems in Europe are contributory and not everyone gets the same as they put in - some get more, some get less but the idea is a safety net when you need it. Maybe some of those legless veterans from the Afghan war that you sometimes trip over at the tram stop would appreciate such a system.
