Is living cost in Poland lower than Germany ?

I went to other parts of Poland too. like south Poland. Extremely Religious, I got shocked to see people standing on their knees and praying to God. Sometimes they move on their knees towards the Church. Anyways this are all from my sweet Memories from Poland.
