Best selling womens items at daily and weekly markets in Poland?

I would like to find out from market vendors and those with experience in the clothes industry in Poland.
A group of people in my area would like to raise some money for an elderly person who needs an operation abroad.
They have chosen to sell clothes, shoes, accessories and underwear for women at the daily and weekly markets in big cities and small towns.
What I would like to find out for them is what they can sell easily and quickly on a daily basis.
They have managed to find local wholesale suppliers and Turkish suppliers as well.
They would like to sell items mainly for women- they say women are the best customers at such markets.
Things like clothes, shoes, handbags, belts, panties and bras.

Its a bit of a time consuming way to raise money - bring it from Turkey, pay duty, hold it in inventory, all for the sake of a hip replacement.

Surely it would be easier to collect the cash put one third in the bank, one third on the stock market and one third on a horse ?

If your message is serious then I think that Polish women shop less and less at outdoor markets for clothes. There are 3 or 4 quite cheap chains now with clothing and they are cheaper than the market plus you can return your product if its a bad fit.

I wonder when was the last time you were in Poland to come up with such an assumption.
Your time difference, considering you posted this less than an hour after me, sells you out.
Are there any market vendors within the country who can help me with this?

Exactly. The outdoor markets are really dying off.

yes the last time I went back to take the kids to see their horrible old babcia in a town near the German border, the market had just literally disappeared, just gone.

When I was last in Primark in Berlin, I could hear lots of Polish being spoken. People do still buy bras etc on the market, but less than before and I know a couple of Market Traders in Wasaw who've packed it in due to earning less and less.

oh Primark in Berlin - that would actually directly explain why the market in GW is no longer there.

Two branches now and the coach and railway stations full of blue and white carrier bags heading to Poland - doesn't help market traders much, especially in the west of the country. There are still markets in Warsaw however Bazar Rozyckiego is a shadow of what it once was, the one by the Palace of Culture is long gone and even Wolumen has shrunk.

The OP has a good idea, however he'll have to choose exactly the right places.

I think really nice quality and clean, well presented, second hand baby clothes might work, just not in a town on the rail link to Berlin.

You could get a new baby body or t shirt for under 10 zloty in any small town in Kaufland, Pepco or Tesco - why would you buy second hand ?
