You will find many good songs on Polish Radio 3rd Channel's charts. This website allows you to browse through all of its weekly results starting from year 1982 until now: lp3.polskieradio.pl/notowania/

The audience of this channel has pretty good taste and many songs stood the test of time and became classics. It's also interesting to look at polish tastes in foreign music over the years.

One of the best upcoming Polish artists at the moment has to be Monika Evans
She sings, plays piano and writes her own music
I bought her new album called Nomen Nescio, but you can listen online at her website: monikaevans.com (8 songs in English and 3 in Polish)
Also one of my favourite Hoobastank covers by her too on Youtube 'The Reason'

Respect

Przemo

Merged: Greatest music hits from PRL

I found this radio station RMF PRL on iTunes, but you can also get it through the link below. I am not Polish, but my wife is and she loves hearing old songs from her 'youth'? Tune in and enjoy.

Nice. Ask your wife to introduce you to Ewa Demarczyk. She is timeless, you won't regret it. Polish Edith Piaf, the Black Angel.
