zion 16 | 168 28 May 2011 / #1Hi all long time no seeI wondering if someone expat here may know where can I buy cardboard Boxes in Warsaw will be moving some stuff from there to the UK.Yes I successfully relocate here and now is time to pick up the family the baby is one year old and big enough to travel.I found a white man with a fan to do the move but he does not provide the boxes. So if any one can help in point it out where can I buy such goods will be appreciated.I am now looking on google but no luck so far..
wildrover 98 | 4431 28 May 2011 / #2I have all my stuff packed up in boxes ready for a move too....I got all my boxes from my local Beidronka , and local shops , and they did not cost me anything...If you get all your friends collecting boxes for you , you will soon have enough for all your stuff....good luck with the move...
OP zion 16 | 168 28 May 2011 / #3I am in the UK and my wife has a small kid to look after so no time to look around the supermarketsAlso got not many friends in Warsaw to help out must find a quick fix
OP zion 16 | 168 28 May 2011 / #5Thanks a lot that is just what was I was looking for .Just hope their shop is not too far from the center what I think it may be but thanks anyway will try to ask if they deliver or something ..
wildrover 98 | 4431 28 May 2011 / #6If they don,t deliver , there will be some local guy who will pick them up for you.. for a price...If you get cartons that are flat , in other words not made up into boxes , you will need a tape gun and lots of rolls of tape...Don,t forget to write on the cartons whats inside...makes it so much easier when it comes to unpacking....
JonnyM 11 | 2608 28 May 2011 / #7Is it really a good idea to transport a baby in a cardboard box? The airline will let you take it free if it sits on your knee.

InWroclaw 89 | 1910 22 Sep 2012 / #11Anyone know if Ikea in Poland still do the boxes? Or if there is a place where one can find some free, I need one or two tea-chest sort of size or a bit bigger (Wroclaw, not Warsaw).
Wroclaw Boy 22 Sep 2012 / #12Anyone know if Ikea in Poland still do the boxes? When i moved i just went to shops and scrounged what i could, then bin areas around the back is usually a good place to start.A lot of the Ikea stuff is flat pack assemble at home jobbies. Lots of flat boxes.
InWroclaw 89 | 1910 22 Sep 2012 / #13I don't think Ochrona will take kindly to me rummaging in their bins but I'll give it a shot :o)
