Dont worry about it, she will terminate pregnancy, polish women usually have no problems with this.

Divorces are not that easy to get (irretrievable breakdown and all that). My best advice is, get a Polish friend to represent you, otherwise you don't stand much chance. Then propose mediation and state that the welfare of the child is paramount. Your wife and yourself obviously are important but it is the upbringing of the child that is the most important. Sorry but getting pregnant and then divorcing is shallow (I don't know the full story but in principle) so, together with your trusted Polish friend, seek out a mediation service. I've been a mediation translator and they favour the Polish person due to their ability to twist and squirm. I levelled the playing field and didn't allow it. Try that, I hope it works!!

The truth is women don’t know what they want. They are always changing their minds about everything. Even when things are just the way they want it, they still keep changing their minds. It still amazes me how most women don’t come to their senses until their 65 years old

98% of women are just complete emotionless, stuck-up, selfish mongers. That other 2% is the REAL women. Nowadays, women either want a guy who rich or hot, & if your neither then your gonna be leaved behind.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. I dont know about your story but it is not a easy decision for a women to do this unless it is some extreme situation. Anyways since your card is going to expire in a months time so I hope you have already applied for Karta Pobytu 45 days in advance. Divorce is not a easy procedure it takes time to get divorced and it is more complicated because you both will have a kid. Has she already applied for divorce? If no then you need to speak to her and explain her that kid needs father and mother both and life is not this easy how she thinks because she needs to leave all problem aside and think about kids future, I hope she will understand if not then you can get visa to complete your divorce. If you are working or studying you can also get your visa extension. I am not sure I read it somewhere that if you have a kid and if you are working then you can always get visa to stay and live in the country to be in touch with your kid and support your kid financially. I hope you sort out your things and everything be fine. Best of Luck

Divorces are not that easy to get

Its not so bad now, it's only when one muppet wants to show it's the other persons fault. Then it's a long drawn out process wasting a whole load of tax zlt. Daft system if you ask me but I'm not Polish.

As an alternative, and you have to move fast with this one, scoot on home and start a divorce from your own country. Voila, you are in the driving seat and you will definately get a fairer deal. This assumes she has not started the divorce in Poland and your home country is Brussells II signatory. It works on the court first seised having juristiction. You will problably have to stay home though, as it could be considered as shopping for a better settlement. If she has started the divorce, you may still have time as the Polish process is incredibly slow, so even if she has started it is entirely possible the court would not be seised until a couple of months have passed.

Of course a Polish lawyer will tell you you can't get divorced outside of Poland but thats only because they are not aware of, or have not read Brussells II or cannot rationalize it with Polish law. It's there in Black and White though and it works.

Might be worth remembering this information for some forumites. Ya never know.

So ask your wife for forgiveness and tell her. you will no longer chase other women and more importantly you will contribute to the upbringing of your child. Being humble is a lot less hassle than getting divorced.

you will no longer chase other women

How do you know that this was the reason?

How do you know that this was the reason?

Firstly I am a man, secondly no woman who is pregnant will want to get rid of the father of her future child, unless he is not father material in her eyes. Thirdly from reading the OP's post he is obviously self centered and I would bet money he has been caught sleeping around.

Firstly I am a man

I noticed that before

secondly no woman who is pregnant will want to get rid of the father of her future child, unless he is not father material in her eyes

and you think this guy helplessly crying on this forum with the broken English is a good material to be a father?

I would bet money he has been caught sleeping around.

In witch country crying and uneducated losers sleep around? Definitely not Poland

Not only daft but utterly wasteful and frequently a downright disgrace. One example: one of my partner's co-workers filed for a divorce on the grounds that her husband was an alcoholic waster who beat her senseless on a regular basis. Despite the fact that the drunk guy had a long list of form for beating her up and had served time for it, the divorce was given on the basis of both of them being at fault. As a result of that, drunk waster was able to apply to the court for alimony (as she works and he just drinks) and he was awarded it.

That is for his wife and him to decide.

I am not about to get sucked into your racist crusade.

So?I applaud court's ruling.Equality of sexes at work.

I applaud court's rulling.

You applaud a decision which forces a woman who has spent years been beaten senseless by a drunk to continue paying for his alcohol for the rest of his life? Are you really that pathetic? I understand that you are forced to take exactly the opposite position to the one which I take but you really do need to do a better job of choosing which ones to vocally support.

I am not about to get sucked into your racist crusade.

Whatever that means, it isn't the answer to my question.
