As per my first hand knowledge of knowing 3 people it depends where are you from and who is in the office dealing in your case.I know an American,Australian and an Ethopian. All illgeally overstaying there stay here in Poland,Australian was approved,American told to make legal entry and he made a visa run to Ukrain e with no problems at all and the Ethopian was not even allowed to su bmit his application and was told to make an legal entry in the EU to apply.
I suggest go to the office ask them personally and tell them to write on paper what documents they want, and if you have to go to different offices. You will be surprised most will have different opinions and also maybe ask diff documents. So it can be done depends which office you go to.where and who you are dealing with.
It's not only visits they also ask intimate/social questions also when they visit and check household conditions like tooth brushes etc in bathroom and clothes in closets for telltale signs.
Don't forget they deal with 10 cases a day when you are just dealing with them for your case only. It's like visa consulars who usually can judge a person by there instinct on the behavior .
In US sometimes they also want to see family outing pics etc also. If UK refused you so many times then you do have a problem.
Yes I went in SZCZECIN office they told me that I need legal entry to submit application Just called to Warsaw they said if you have polish marriage certificate then it not matter even illegal but still can apply It makes me confused every city have own rules
UK officer never come to check in home We living together since 5 years now We wrote many times even my UK doctor wrote letter that it genuine case But uk do not bother and never visit us Just keep refusing application
UK Doctor????? How does a doctor say if the marriage is legit???Certainly having sex on regular basis with someone is not a proof that one is seriously married,if you are implying that???
For sure they must have some serious doubts.Maybe was something wrong in papers?I read something about a spouse making some minimum money to bring the other half in UK.I know in USA one has to have minimum legal income above the poverty line according to the size of the family.
Did you have any property on both of your names?Any kids that are from you two?
No kids because she can't have kid But we have bills and tenancy agreement of home together on our names since 5 years All income requirements are ok everything
In that case something seriously wrong that raise Uk immigration eyebrows, which probably you not seeing it or hiding something.I am sure UK immigration not that stupid to refuse a legit marriage, then again some things could fell through cracks.
Anyay as you said go to Warsaw make them write the documents they need on paper themselves and go back with all.I am sure if you are legit you will have no problems. Also I heard that Poland lately Poland does vett immigrants from muslim nations.
Vett immigrants mean what? It is nothing hidden Many things happening strange here in UK with European spouses I know some people that happen with them as well But still they Tring sending again again application
So get to integrating! From my experience urządy like foreigners who don't need translators and who understand how things work. Language is the key to integration in Poland and integration is the key to getting a favorable decision.
The more at home you seem in Poland the better your chances at not getting kicked out. Polish bureaucrats often go for the spirit of the law rather than the letter (if they like you and they think you fit in).
Yes But the problem is almost different cities have different rules My wife went in office and they told that illegal entry person cannot apply While other city office say it is possible to apply Just scare to go to office Just scare about deport
Yup.I have a friend in Warsaw who is a consular says the same thing.Well integrated????he is from Pakistan and Polands national meat is P O R K! kabeesh!
@OP yes you should be scared of deportation as in Poland the office inspector in immigration makes the decision(I knew one) who had a so called stamp for deportation, unlike US where they have to take you to court to get a judge decide and you can hire a lawyer to defend yourself. But Poland is still very tolerant,I have seen illegal foreigners being caught in Trams without tickets, whereas in US if you steal a small 1$ candy bar can lead to deportation.
I dont know how much money you have,if you can hire a reputable law firm in Poland and get your case solved,The law firms are not cheap though which start from 200 Euros an hour and above.
Also an advice dont ever ever ever pay a lawyer for consultation esp in Poland.Always ask first if it is a presentation or a consultation.A lawyer has to tell you why you should hire him & what he can do for you.Remember good lawyers never charge for initial consultation.
LOl remember money talks and bullshit walks so things can be done somehow in Poland with right contacts sometimes by paying to influential lawyers in your case.

I've known a number of muslims who have been/are very well integrated (but they tend to be highly educated and secular) and don't go around making their religion a reason to be a wet blanket and are flexible about a lot of things in public.

Catch 22 @OP this is a common notion among people that if you are married or a parent of a Polish citizen then they cannot deport you.I could never verify it first hand with any clearly written law anywhere.I know that in normal countries they will deport you no matter what if you have to be deported.Poland still has very confusing laws and can be predicted differently by different authorities.BTW the cases of 3 people I told you was in same office in Warsaw. So its not diff offices its different authority incharge at the time.Eg:In my case when my wife gets a certified letter they will sometimes refuse to let me pick it up,depending who is the clerk in poczta.Maybe because she has a different last name,I dont know why do they give me sometimes.Since she is Polish she always picks up my certified letters.
Just a curious question.how did you get your Polish marriage certificate?
My wife went in some office name I not sure how spell It like urdaz Stan nego something like They took my birth certificate and my marriage certificate then they keep that documents and gave us polish marriage certificate
urząd stan cywilnego (roughly: office of civil (marital) status)
Again, rather than obsess about meeting particular requirements or about what they can or cannot do, concentrate on integration so they won't want to deport you.
Because I was married in UK And UK is in Europe countries so just swap marriage certificate from UK to Poland If I married in Africa or Asia then they need sworn translator and foreign affairs tested certificate I submit my UK certificate and my birth certificate so that office keep that both things and did not give me back Just only give me polish certificate and permission that on certificate is that my wife can use my surname now
Yeah they do that, they kept my driving license, birth certificate, marriage certificate also when appling but so what ,you can get duplicates back where u had them from.
And yes your wife could get the marriage certificate cuz she was a party to it. But get ready for a long and expensive battle to legalize yourself in Poland and stay away from coppers,if you have any incident they might use that against you.
