UK, Ireland / Warsaw to UK flights? [10]

Btw. there have been small changes in check-in arrangements at Chopin Airport:

"As of Wednesday 1 August, passengers no longer check in for their flights in the departures hall in the old part of Terminal A, as all check-ins have been moved to the new part of the building.

Other facilities relocated from the old part of the terminal building (zone A,B) include airline and tour operator offices, a post office, the left luggage office and lost and found office.

The changes are part of the preparations to close zone A,B of Terminal A. Work on the old part of the building with a distinctive, claret roof is due to start in September. The old terminal will be integrated with the new part of the building (zone C,D,E) to form a single, architecturally and functionally coherent structure."

Try visiting Krakow and Warsaw. Krakow has a beautiful old market and Warsaw has many spots that you should check out :)

Travel / Warsaw's most beautiful disctrict or village [18]

Podkowa Leśna (Poland) is absolutely beautiful! I would also recommend Ciechanów.

And if you're looking for info in English about things worth seeing in Warsaw itself, you might want to check: facebook.com/warsaw

(EURO 2012, cultural events etc.)

Food / The 12 dishes of Poland on Christmas Eve. [51]

Well, I never had 12 dishes for Christmas. We have like 5 or something, they have to include karp though (even though I don't eat fish except for the Christmas Eve).

Travel / I'm half-Polish and I'm Planning a Trip to Poland - tickets, historical landmarks? [36]

Krakow has a really nice atmosphere, Wroclaw's old market is awesome, you should also consider visiting Warsaw. There is a great FB fanpage for English speaking people wishing to discover cool things in Warsaw:

I would also recommend the Warsaw Uprising Museum and the Copernicus Science Centre.
