these are two huge countries... the differences from one end of canada to the other are pretty huge as far as cost of living and standard of living go and i imagine it is the same in the u.s... as far as housing prices if you live in a big city in canada you are going to pay a rediculous price for a house with very little land etc. I have lived in large metropolis areas in big cities and in small communities houses are cheaper in small communities but everything else is more expensive. The friendly laid back attitude that a lot of people love about canadians really is not everywhere in Canada and is found more commonly in smaller communities. The east coast has the highest taxes and highest cost of living in the country and yet the friendliest most laid back people...I have never lived in the u.s but have travelled there extensively although not recently becaue i don't like the direction the country i headed in. Everything is cheaper there for sure but the quality is not as good. A trip to the grocery store in any canadian town or city will set you back much more but the food quality will almost always be better. I suppose the canada vs u.s debate really just depends what you are looking for. For whoever stated that your canadian cousins were shocked that your american police officers carry guns? We do have a shortage of labour ... and i have nothing against polish people coming here but ... with that shortage of labour we also have a massive amount of people collecting social welfare who are perfectly capable of working labour jobs so i imagine the shortage could be filled that way but then the canadian government would have to actually do something about the welfare issue in this country, i guess this i easier for them ... ugh.

do all polish women do this... can you be sure of that. I have female friends in canada of no polish decent that fall in love much too quickly and have moved in with men much too soon. This is not a polish trait alone it can be found anywhere and is usually a result of a fear of being alone or it can come with age when they feel a need to live up to societal expectations and shack up. there is a difference between trimmed and shaved bald ... and soap and water go a long way you dont have to shave to be hygenic you have to wash yourself

true... but the ones in canada have many opportunities they are chosing not to embrace. free post secondary education no taxes free housing if you live on a reserve etc... i am not saying that makes up for anything and i honestly dont feel like we need to make up for anything i live in a community where the population is majority native canadian and i am all for helping those who need help if they are willing to help themselves but when you are not willing to help yourself i am certainly not going to go out of my way for you. what i see in my community drunk by ten a.m, knocking on my door begging for food or smokes living on welfare no desire to get a job subsidised housing no encouragement for their children to get a good education or take advantage of the free education opportunity it is disgusting. not even in a sense... she/he is prostituting themselves if you are with someone you will be having sex with them at some point so if you dont care about them and are not sexually attracted to them but you are in fact having intercourse with them in order to gain something for yourself that would be prostitution. How many men and women do this? If your girlfriend dumps you because she got all she wanted out of you and isnt interested anymore (maybe you lost a fortune on the stock market or something) can you charge her with prostitution, no ... atleast someone taking money from someone in exchange for sex isnt causing any emotional damage, atleast that person is being honest about their intentions perhaps there is more class in that.
