Love / Observations and experiences so far about Polish women [93]

Another thread on Polish Women, they must be absolutely mankillers. Who knew?

I don't understand all the threads regarding women on this forum, it's very confusing. Woman are the same all over the world, same emotions/same feelings. Of course there's different religions/cultural differences which may have some effect, but for the most part if a woman likes you she likes you, if not, she doesn't.....

They make these threads like Polish women are from another planet!

Love / Polish woman and black/mixed-race guy...... [49]

Thanks for the posts,

I'm not trying to get laid at all, well I'm a guy so I like sex, but it's not my aim. I'm trying to improve my conversational English skills with woman. You're right, if they like me they... like me, if not... who cares! :P

I'm heading back to London tomorrow so I don't have any opportunity, however I'm coming back in august with better Polish skills :)

And please do not think I am special because I'm black, I was in katowice on my first day and I saw 6 black people, some girls some guys. And even more in Krakow!

Have a good day everyone!

Love / Polish woman and black/mixed-race guy...... [49]

I'm currently in Gliwice, however I'm eating some fried dumplings with Z miesem! :) they're so tasty! I don't think I will be able to do much as I'm going to a party later in Katowice and then I'll be drunk on some Tske beer and sprudnik vodka!! :P

But I'll be returning to Poland around august next year! So maybe we can exchange skype?

Kind regards,

Love / Polish woman and black/mixed-race guy...... [49]

Hi, so I'm finally in Poland after 1 year of procrastination. I'm staying with a Polish girl who lives in Katowice. There's no racism, and the woman appear to be staring and smiling at me which is great! I'm just wondering for my next visit in summer 2013 how I can meet some Polish woman for dating? I'm from London, and it has been suggested to try and meet some Polish woman in London and maybe come for holiday over here, this way I can learn the language better? I have no idea, I don't want to come over here and only interact with people I know, it would be nice to even just meet a lady for a coffee or drink as friends!

However I'm having a wonderful time, I've met some great people so far. Tomorrow we are travelling to Krakow so it should be fun. I think I'll use this site to help find some Polish woman in London who I can meet up with to improve my polish and have friendly conversation.

So to summarize..

Where can I meet Polish woman aged 18-23 in Krakow/Katowice? Some people say in the universities, but I don't want to just approach some ladies in the street, it's not going to be respected much.

Anyway, dobranoc!

News / Polish hero pilot lands 767 without wheels. (Warsaw) [191]

amazing job. and this is why I won't fly Lot until they get their new fleet.

Ridiculous, LOT aren't the only airline that use 767's, the problem could happen to any single 767, depending on what model it is. That's the whole point of ACI....

Travel / Tips/suggestions/do's and don't of going to Poland....? [55]

Everything I have learnt so far, sentences/phrases have all been pronounced CORRECTLY, and have been understood very easily by Polish people themselves. Obviously when I type out how I SAY it, it doesn't look correct, that's just how I pronounce them, and as previously said, no Polish person has been confused by anything I've said.

I'm simply asking if you would understand what " Co a u Pani slyhach " means. It's an incorrect phrase, said by me, and the lady didn't understand.....

Merged: Co u Pana/Pani slychac....

Today I said to a female

So ahh oo Pani, Seweer hachh ( Co a u Pani slyhach )

Would you be able to understand this?

It was supposed to be

So oo Pani seweer hachh

but for some reason I said " Ahh oo " instead of just " oo "

Love / Do young Polish ladies 17-23 speak any English? [59]

Which frankly is bollox

There IS Polish woman here, but there's hardly any aged 17-22, the sort of age I'd go for if I'm going to date. I only see families and older woman 27 + years old, with kids and stuff. No girls my age.

my comprehension is fine

It's not, the two quotes you used did not contradict at all, you just don't seem to be able to decipher such minuscule information properly.

Dok£adnie! :) OP. that means exactly.

That means absolutely nothing to me, I don't want to be able t o write Polish. Which means I learn everything by sounds.

Dzien Dobry = Gin Dobry
Dobry Wiezor = Dobree V Echor

Przepraszam = Shep-ra-Sham

That's how I learn, sounds exact same as how you would hear it, I just can't learn by looking at the word, which I should, but... hmm

so your negative experience sharing will not go down well with the majority here.

I don't mind :)

I like to experience new things, I can create fun for myself. Even in a room, with nothing in it, and my hands tied up!

Thanks for the advice

now in fairness Scottie and Seanus were taking the p!ss out of you

Train set? Lmao? How old are you may I ask? Very childish troll, do you not have work/commitments or something constructive to do other than troll?

And I didn't really listen, I'm just being polite, I'm all for male shivery. I'm probably more of a man than you are, I'm basing that on how you come across on this forum. Good day to you sir.

Do be sure not to hold doors open for people as it's not appreciated 90% of the time.

Wow, interesting. Any other do's and don't in terms of being polite and respectful, which in London I might not be used to?

. That is unless you don't mind making a fool of yourself, with improper pronunciation...

Can you give an example of some phrases, which must be pronounced a certain way, otherwise I'll sound like a idiot.. just some examples :)?

you certainly believe in forward planning don't you?
not a young man for leaving things to chance I can see

It's not really planning though is it. I'm just asking general questions, if I was planning I'd be searching costs/airlines/somewhere to stay, I'm very spontaneous and would probably end up doing that last minute, even if I should have done it months ago... :P

EDIT - I'm going to Poland 100% in 1-2 years, that's my agenda. No, I'm not going for woman. I'm not a stupid guy, I don't know any Polish, how an earth can I expect to get with a Polish girl, it's probably impossible unless she can speak some English.

So I made a thread the other day, with several (90% useless troll answers). I simply would like to know if anyone can offer me some tips/suggestions for a first timer going to Poland? Any etiquette I should adopt with the ladies/guys? Any social rules, like I must wear certain clothes because it's offensive or whatever....?

Just general things please :)

Love / Do young Polish ladies 17-23 speak any English? [59]

if they do not want to take him up on his kind offer they simply have to feign a non-understanding of the Queen's English

This applies to everyone in the world lmao

If I don't want to speak to someone, I won't. Same applies everywhere.

And yes, I will feedback when I have gone to Poland in a few years. But for now I wil lcreate another thread, and hopefully I won't get trolled.

As posters previously pointed out, you are about 10-15 years to late for the novelty act. Polish girls may like you if you are good person and they enjoy your company, as for your skin colour. Would you really want to be with a woman who was interested in your skin colour over you. C'mon show some common...

I understand, it's not me that's saying my skin will give me a boost, it may turn heads. But it's other saying that it's " exotic " not me...

Thanks though,

How strange that black people and mixed raced people bang on about acceptance, yet they're happy to play the race card to their own advantage...

I ... KNOW I will be accepted, 100%. I didn't ask about acceptance, I asked about racism levels. Oh and btw, I see everyone the same, I've never played the race card at all.

And I got interested when I was 14, when we had a new Polish guy in my class, and I was teaching him, and he would tell me about his experiences in Poland. I Also did history as well so I know about the whole involvement of Poland during WW1/WW2 and USA and so on.......

What's up with you guys on this forum, all I did is join to ask a few questions and you're all going crazy on me:P !

EDIT: It's ACTUALLY legal for me to work behind a bar, so long as I'm being supervised WHILST pouring drinks, I can serve them without supervision. You need to update yourself knowledge sir.

just to let you know most places wont serve people who look under 21, even if they have ID.

I've worked behind bars before, I know about all the age limits and appearing over 21/under 21

How about, I go to Poland, and don't get served, that way I can learn. Because ATM I'm going to do what I want to do? And if it goes wrong, then I have myself to blame?... :)
