It has to be the expats living in Poland. Poland is a really hard place to live, and unless you are here 24/7 for at least a year... you wouldn't realise that. It is very easy to love Poland through rose tinted glasses.... but try living here! That's when the reality hits.

I am a Reverend Minister I work of an Evangelical Church as a counsellor. I was previously based in Southern Europe however for the past three and half years I have been based in Poland. I counsel British expat and help them anyway I can, both practically and of course spiritually. I am part of the 'New Christian Ministry' born from the very active protestant movement in Belfast.

We have Churches in Szczecin, Lodz and Krakow.

Hi, it's great to hear you want to convert to Christianity, as I'm sure you are well aware there are many different branches to the Christian tree so please choose carefully. The evangelical movement in Poland is growing quickly as knowledgeable Christians turn their back on Rome. Kakow has some very exciting Christian projects as does Szczecin. Poland is a fantastic place to be and I'm sure converting here would be a very spiritual experience. Hi, I have lived in Szczecin for the past year and it's a fantastic city. Very clean and safe. Apartments are very cheap but quite a high standard. You will love it here. There is always lots going on, lots to see and do. There are a few Polish Language Courses too at the University, they cost around 1500 zloty for an eight month course part time. This will give you the basics. Polish is quite a hard language to learn!! I hope this helps. Good luck.

Surely this can't be true as we are all Europeans now. We are not immigrants. We are simply exploring the Great continent of Europe which is now our new home, which is where we all belong, be us Polish, Irish or British. We are simply Europeans. It's time to start being nice and spread some love. Learn to share. Europe is big enough for all of us. Lets start by welcoming people into our Countries rather than building wall to keep them out.
