Work / Polish pension fund (am I going to lose my contributions while working in Poland?) [6]

Hi, I'm leaving Poland after a year working here, According to our HR dept I'm going to loose my pensionfund contributions made every month? Is this possible that they deduct 9% every month and then I can't clain any of it back?
