Food / Polish food in Pictures. [277]

Yaba :) Thanks for the link, but I wouldn't recommend that web page. Why? Not really traditional polish recipes (oregano and thyme in golabki?! never! no rice in stuffing?), many misspellings, nooo.

Thank you for your kind offer of help with translation, I'm Polish so I think i can manage on my own ;)

Travel / My impressions from Poland [26]

-Sandals and socks
What is this with all Poles wearing sandals and socks at the same time?! I thought sandals were supposed to be worn on the bare feet. :)

Are you kidding me? I'm Polish, 2/3 of my live spent in Poland and the only place I met people wearing sandals+ socks was Iceland! Seriously.

Well, the recipe is not mine nor is the web page :) So amending is not an option, but just give me some time - I'll make golabki, and post it with the recipe on my food blog, ok? :)

Golabki have minced meat in the stuffing, I thought the tutorial could be interesting, not the recipe :)

Well, I'm Polish, can't say I don't like them :]

Life / What Polish people think about the Italian and Spanish men? [39]

Short reaserch among my girl friends...
Italian guys - lazy bastards with huge egos, only egos ;)
Spanish guys - no way to understand them/vain roosters...

My point of view:
Italian guys - after brief "training" on different ways of showing respect to women in Italy and the rest of Europe they are fun to be with.

Spanish guys - as soon as they are done with showing off - simply perfect! I was amazed to see how they manage to be a family guy and macho at the same time. Friendly, fun to be with, know how to talk about feelings, a bit teritorial :) I love Spaniards talking English :)

what I really truly miss is polish bread, not the one you can buy nowadays, but sourdough from a proper bakery

You did a great job on kopytka :) Next time remember to cut them at the angle (aprox. 45) for more true look :)
