Law / What is "prowizja" in a loan? [4]

When you move your mouse cursor on the prowizja word, it is explained what it is. It is written that it's taken only one time when you recieve your loan. If you take 10k, you will pay 300 zł prowizja.

USA, Canada / Going back to the Old Country of Poland after more than 25 years! (from USA) [249]

HUH?? Wow! That's incredible. That ride used to take 30minutes tops, on a very bad day....I beleive I'm about to get my mind blown.

It shouldn't be that bad, because Wrocław will get it's bypass fully opened at the end of August, so the traffic in the city will be lower.

Language / Pronunciation of vowels at the end of a word [28]

Every letter in every word always sounds the same. That's the difference compared to english. Of course you have to remember that rz sz and ch are pronounced different than these letters apart.

Language / which 'if' (jeśli, gdyż or gdyby) use in conversation? [13]

Use word "jak" if you want to speak like normal people on the streets. Not "Jeśli nie będzie padać to pójdziemy na spacer", but "Jak nie będzie padać to pójdziemy na spacer". (If it doesn't rain, we will go for a walk). And not "gdyby", but "jakby". I don't even know if that's correct, but I speak like that :)

Travel / Is September good for going to Poland? [15]

First half of September is usually still warm like August. Then around 20th you have to turn on heating at night. In December it's dark 16 hours a day :|

Language / Why in the world there are three ways to write simple U ?!?! [54]

microwac - You're wrong. Only rz and ż, ch and h, u and ó are the same in pronunciation.

And polish words are easy to pronunce when you learn how each letter of alphabet is pronunced. You just put the pronunciation of letters together, and you get the whole word pronunciation. It's so easy, because each letter is always pronunced the same, in every word. You just have to remember that ch makes h, rz makes ż, and ó is the same as u. And you say that this is stupid? LAME.

Language / FULL WYPAS, WYPASIONY, ZAJEBISTY? [20]

I'm not sure, but I think that "wypas" is from cows on the field. They eat a lot of grass, so they are good-feeded, big, healthy. So something "wypasione" is good, not cheap, have a lot of features, etc.
