Love / 12 years of marriage my Polish wife still doubts me [74]

and is this making a difference to your love? if so she's right, and if not, you would be able to find a moment once a month to do sth what you normally don't do to please her without spending a dollar

so maybe you have fallen in a boring routine and she needs some more effort from you, try do to something surprising and very pleasant for her just because, show her that you love her and are crazy about her not only by saying all the time the same things but by doing something what you were doing as a student when trying to conquer her

Life / Why is cheating at schools in Poland accepted?! [155]

If I were a teacher, I would make students scared of cheating. That's simple and effective. I don't know why many teachers are reluctant. My classmates cheat on every exam but chemistry. Why? because they are aware of the consequences... our chemistry teacher would immediately order to finish writing which means 0 points for a perpetrator. And that's good.

There is a different situation at universities. Exams on good and hard studies are often impossible to pass without cheating. Both lecturers and students know that, but nothing is changing. World requires only strong people. They have to know how to survive.

Life / Why is cheating at schools in Poland accepted?! [155]

First, you have to prove that cheating in Polish schools, is indeed accepted. When you prove it, you can try to answer the question. If you can't prove it, you shouldn't answer. As for now, we have only accusations, without any hard proofs.

Cheating is present at schools, that's a fact. Don't you believe?
Why it is accepted... I hate it. It's beneficial for teachers to get money from students... mostly at universities, when a teacher can do anything with you. Why cheating on exams is common... because it often doesn't involve severe punishments... students think they are "cool and canny".

Love / Are Polish Women cold and aloof? [249]

ok I'm convinced :)
I know that's true, I would add we are also less receptive to people, although generally kind

Love / Are Polish Women cold and aloof? [249]

Polish women are passive and have no reactions.

does the character depend on the birthplace?

they seldom say thank you for sth

doesn't it depend on the upbringing?

Anyway basically polish girls are like all slavic girls.

no, we are aliens...

Love / WHY DO POLISH MEN LIE? [150]

WELL, my history teacher claims that Poles have a tendency to lie or cheat because of the partition, especially Russian one. We had to survive somehow and maintain our culture. SO those boys are only victims... you should even feel sorry to them...

i don't like the "Polish" part in this question...

Taking the post seriously, I don't like this part too.
Tell me who doesn't lie. Tell me that not Polish men are saint and never cheat.

Language / I'm gonna learn Polish in a month! [86]

good luck!!! you will need it.

I agree haha. I thought the same about Spanish and after a month I was able to remember that I have to put an adjective after a noun.

I'm joking. It can be a good motivation, but remember that what counts is an effect, not 31 days.
However, it's also funny and attests that you aren't thinking straight at all, I'm sorry.

Life / Is Poland split into two religions: catholicism and non-believers? [103]

Sure Poland is mostly Catholic...at least in label.

I agree, many of them claim they are catholic, but their behaviour is ridiculous and denies their faith... mass is the form of showing "how good person i am"... it's hard to determine the number of real worshippers

Life / An idea about Polish Literature [32]

Wyspianska, you know, it's Polish hehe

Was it because you had a problem?

I don't think writing second version is like solving some problems.

Travel / Stag Parties in Kraków [119]

yes, i have heard it often and have seen it also on TV. Sad but real. Some of them make a lot of mess in pubs, others are walking along the street naked... and then pay for every damage to make the owner silent.

finaly not all tourists are behaving like ... some are here to see something or learn something.

of course :)
