I have only been to Warsaw ,and i can say that this city is very good. It has a beautiful park (Lazienki Park) and Old Town is very nice to walk around in and has some good places where you can eat. :) You can also get around the city easily by buying a 24 hour ticket to the busses and trams. It only costs 7,5PLN and you can ride as much as you want.

Nothing looks good covered in snow, i live in Norway ,i know :P

One have to be a rich Pole to come to Norway or Sweden , Sweden is not as bad as Norway ,but both countries are very expensive. Bring as much food and drinks as you can if going to any of these countries. Alcohol is ridulously expensive. In Norway a bottle of "cheap" vodka is about 125PLN ,in Sweden its about 100PLN.

A Bottle of Dworek vodka in Norway is 150PLN!!

Buy the book "Polish in 4 weeks" ,it is a very good book for learning the basics. Of coarse ,it takes a bit more than 4 weeks. hehe.
