Hi Members,

I am planning to relocate to Gdynia. I find this forum and saw many useful post with similar discussion. I have few more questions and would be very helpful for me if this can be answered by members.

1. My office is in Gdynia, is it different from Gdansk?
2. As per Indian standards my salary is above average for an experience of around 9 years as IT / Financial Consultant. Could you please guide me what should I expect (Gross / Net) for this profile and experience in Gdynia?

3. My wife is a software engineer in India, will it be possible for her to get a job in Gdynia?
4. What is cost of living in Gdynia?
- House Rent (1 BHK / 2 BHK)
- Groceries
- Fortnightly visit to near by places (I love traveling and site seings :) )
- Bills (electricity, internet, mobile)

This information will help me in negotiating with my employer.

I think I am in the same position as you were around 2 years back. I am planning to relocate to Gdynia from India.
May I ask you did you moved to Poland?

If yes, or if you have some information based on your research could be please help me with some information.

What is cost of living in Gdynia?
- House Rent (1 BHK / 2 BHK)
- Groceries
- Bills (electricity, internet, mobile (specially call to India) )

I have posted my below query on a new thread but no responses yet. It would be great if you can provide me help on below mentioned points.

Thanks for taking up my request.
Actually I had already checked on this site, even though the information is useful but would like to have more information. The average salary listed on this site is 1950 zl. I am not sure this is for which sector and for people with how much experience.

Now I understand that Gdynia is not one of the biggest town in Poland and hence not getting much information about this place.
There is limited information about Gdynia, do you have some information about this city which will help me.

Now you have seem Poland and understand the country much better, what in your opinion should I ask (Gross / Net).

Also what would be the rent for a 1 or 2 BHK in Gdynia. In addition to rent how much is the security deposit / maintenance per month. Are there separate charges to use the amenities like club house, sports club, health club. If yes, how much per month.
