A high wage here is more than 85k, a great wage is 100k. 16.5 an hour is reallly really low it is kids money. The rent is so high if you dont have house that wage above will mean yiu will be poor. Thats what I keep telling you forget if it looks attractive it is rubbish. To rent a broken shack in sydney is 300 a week. If you want house to rent its a minimum of 600 a week and if you have 4 bedrooms its 800 or much more per week.not only that there is shortage. Add the other costsl to live like food petrol and everything and you will soon realise it is a big fake. Sydney has one if the highest costs of living in the world or us it the actual highest? If you are coming here bring money to start up or you will perish.

I am going to take 10000. Plane and hotel for 30 days will be about 3500. But after I meet some people I will use their house as base so even less because I will pay them less but they will still b happy. You c I dont want a comftable place I will be searching places to live and make business so if I sit in hotel I will fail. My goal is to meet people and places not have a holiday but ofcourse with 6000 left or more I will have a good time on weekend. If all that is viable I will come back and we will sell lots of things and only than make move. I am the sort of person who walks into places and that sort of thing so I will not have any problems doing all that. One of the things I read here all the time is money. Our move would not be for money it is for life. Money I will make, life here is changing beyond what we want. Life is too short for me to accept the changes here, we can c a far better life akthough we have everything. This may seem strange to some people but there is a lot here now that we dont want. My wife is australian and she agrees. Ofcourse we can akways leave.

Like I said 10 times its a great place. Its becoming less great. Spouting what mate? Save your propaganda for tourist adverts mate the place is becoming like the usa more every day. Thats just propaganda. Last week a boy was assaulted here by 3 older man 2 held him downwhile the 3rd sodomised him and assaulted him. Another was approached in the street and flammable liquid was thrown on him and he was set alight. He is 14. This sort of crime happens here all the time it only ever gets out when the media gets their hands on it. When you tell people they dont believe. After it happens to them only then they believe. Meanwhile people on forums tell me its not true and at the same time I can see it on telly. Propaganda to gain tourist dollar. Utter rubbish. The crimes mentioned here are petty. Yes australia. Very difficult to visit neighbours by train here. I answered this topic because I just finished 3 months doing work for a company who supplies engineering for aerospace and the chief engineer is german and he says the opposite.

For 2500 pln in sydney you can get 75 beers in a nightclub. A plastic dog kennel is more than that. I am lucky I started to think sharply when I was young or I now would be living at home like heaps of ppl here. 2500 pln does not get you anything but 1 room in someones back yard granny flat 1 hour from the city. Living at home is not a sign of success at all here it meabs you are a loser. The cost of living has gone up heaps and wages almost nil. Poles are doing it tough heaps of ozzies are too and heaps are rich but the gap is growing. Illigal drugs are cheap by the way cheaper than alcohol and tobacco. So if you want to have 2 beers in a nightclub you can get stoned 5 or 6 times instead. The drug culture here is a joke partially caused by the government making legal drugs more expensive than illegal ones. Yes it's tough in poland and everywhere also. Not for me but I can c how it will be for my kids in 10 more years.
