UK, Ireland / Poles living in the UK returning home or not? [63]

"We do not see them here," says Prof Krystyna Iglicka, of the Centre for International Affairs in Warsaw.

These dumb from Polish Centre for Intern Affairs dont want to know ( or play fool )that those people wont appear in ZUS ( polish Inland Revenue register ). They dont trust polish goverment and try to avoid rip off.

UK, Ireland / Brits to protest against foreigners in the workforce, including Poles. [289]

This is not about British Government wanted cheap labor or anything to make Brits more competitive, its just happen cos of false predictions with open job market to new EU members. Reason why you see many Poles in UK is because in some ways we are connected to each other ( sic !) ( for whatever reason - not mutual of course) Estonians went to Sweden, Romanians ( not Gypsies, they are everywhere ) and Bulgarians went to Italy and Spain.

There must be something with politics, use to Yugoslavians ( supporters of Nazi Germany ) went to Germany, same as Turks.

Trevek
different point of view, these descendants of ex British colonies are definitely not supporters of our European affairs.
For them EU is a threat.
Europeans have a problem with each other but trying to work together to compete with China, India, Russia and US. Thats basically the reason for make us all work together united.

UK, Ireland / Bank transfer from Poland to UK - do I need only IBAN number or SWIFT one as well? [8]

this SWIFT code bothers me most.
How can you obtain swift code of UK bank when there is no info on their website and phone numbers are showing they are based in India probably, so don't wanna pay for UK 0700'/0850's from Poland to ask them about these details and paid for phone call 50 quid.

Seanus

I correct in his own language. A prime example would be poszłem instead of poszedłem. Keep suckling the teet, tit.

yeah I know you know more Polish than average Pole and definitely more than me. Your 'making' "chcesz łyką" as want a sip made my brain fry, what is the fcukig going on, its like some Pole in UK would try to make such thing just because something sounds a bit similar, just like saying my circus of friends instead of circle of friends. People complain that Poles dont know English in UK and here we have a teacher who made such a basic mistake

Never heard during your 5 years stay 'chcesz łyka'?. Even in pub or home?

chcesz łyką instead chcesz łyka still don't see mistake?
try pronounce these two words - łyka and łyką, still no different?
these two sound completely different and chcesz łyka is a very common sentence. I would be in trouble if spell beach and bitch incorrectly

So an you a speak a mostly an English a with an your a wife? in Poland? nice, I don't want to be rude but I have a strange feeling she could be other version of Justysia but more mature. I could understand this if she practise English but from what you have wrote it looks not that way. Another Pole who don't want to be Pole? No wonder you don't speak Polish

Work / Why Poland employers are afraid of hiring any foreign nationals? [171]

Yes I do...but your idiot above said Polish English teachers are better than Native English teachers.

Try imagine Russians back to soviet era employing Amerians to teach English.
It is a whole packege so they have tried to avoid native speakers unless there were commies

Nobody would say that native spekers are bad teachers but they bring a whole package if you know what I mean

Work / Why Poland employers are afraid of hiring any foreign nationals? [171]

Conrad was very heavily edited, and many many passages in his works are suspiciously similar to his wife Jessie's prose style.

If you are trying to make a point I am afraid you have failed
Read 'Linguistic Influence of Polish on Joseph Conrad's slyle' by Mary Morzinski. East Eureopean Monographs, volume III. 1994 Columbia University Press, New York.
