News / Mass immigration to Poland - article and response [479]

I recently read about elections in Norway and all elected were socialists, communists and greens... By the way, my condolences to all sane Norwegian people :)

Well I am Norwegian and I am pissed off! I did not wote for this scum and nothing will be better now for sure. Four more years of this tragic government. I thank you for condolences, because this government will drive us in to a deeper shithole of a meltingpot. And sooner or later meltingpots boils over. It is just a matter of time.

Sometimes I feel like a stranger in my own country, and in Oslo there is a school (Mortensrud) with 97% (!!!) immigrants.
aftenposten.no/nyheter/iriks/article3228559.ece
Sometimes I have to go there while I am at work to deliver books and other things, and I can not stop to wonder how this could happen. All I know is that I do not like this. More potential robbers, rapists, gangmembers, drugdealers and so on is what I see in this kids.

Actually when I for example travel to Poland or an other eastern european country I feel more at home than in my own country, even if I am 100% Norwegian. This is due to the reason that I feel more comfortable around other europeans and that they are not so different from us Norwegians. It is always a big dissapointment to come back to Norway and the "kebabstreets" after spending time in a country without the non-western mass immigration.

So please Polish people do not make the mistakes that the western europe has made. Please learn from our mistakes. Trust me you will regret it if you don`t. And my friend if you think that non-western immigration ain`t going to cause any problems in your country, well then I am sad to say that you are a very, very naive person.

Well Seanus like SzwedwPolsce said, there are not much immigrants who are invited for work theese days. The non western immigrants are more likely to life of Norways welfare system, just like leeches suck blood from their hosts.

Let us with open loving arms welcome immigrants who want to make Europe their new home. I am always in their side.

Do you really know what you are saying? To me you sound like a person who lives in an area without immigration and the problems it causes. If you want to make your society to go down the drain, be my guest. But I am sure your neighbours will hate you for it, and one day you wake up to face the reality of your wishes, and what problem they`ve caused you`ll surely regret your actions when you still had the chanse to do something about it.

Love / Men and Women from Eastern Poland [37]

i disagree!! eastern Poland has the cosiest cleanest towns. very underestimated. i'm sorry to say this but you live in the ugliest and dirtest part of Poland. come to Sandomierz, Przemysl, Jaroslaw, Zamość,Rzeszow and Bialystok.

I have been to many places in Poland and I have to say that Sandomierz is the place I liked the best. Very beautiful town indeed. Next time I go to Poland I will go to the eastern part as well. I am going to Białystok for sure and maybe also £omża.

News / What is Poland's politics towards Norway? [56]

I see, WARNING I don't teach Nynorsk only Bokmål(My god who on earth would want to learn that)

As a Norwegian I couldn`t agree more on that one.

Travel / Visiting Sopot for a week in late May/start of June looking for restaurants/pubs [17]

If you go to Sopot I will say you should stay away from the yacht club at the end of the pir. They charged 12zł for a 0,3ltr lech. In Sopot it is pubs, bars and night clubs everywhere so they`re not hard to find.

From Sopot to Gdańsk it is better to take a car/taxi it does not cost to much, next to the yacht club there is a little ferry going to Hel, this ferry travels Gdańsk-Sopot-Hel.

There is a very good beach in Gdynia (not far from Sopot), here you are also able to buy some drinks and a little food. the beach next to the Sofitel Grand Hotel in Sopot is also a nice place.

In Gdańsk you can get a lot of food for little money I recommend the Sphinx restuarants (sort of like a polish version of Fridays) and if you like waiters with good bodies in a very tight red hotpants I would go to Roosters (this is also in Sopot as far as I remember).

Food / WHY IN POLAND PEOPLE DON'T USE ICE? [142]

I would have to say that a too cold beer is awfull. If the beer is to cold it looses its taste (sort of like american budweiser: fuckin`close to water. I wonder if this really is a beer?). For me beer is best some where between +6 to +8 degrees celcius (+42,8 to +46,4 degrees fahrenheit).

Life / Foreigners in Poland and what they think of us [54]

Outside of Poland is there a reason to learn Polish,,probably not??

Well here in Norway people tend to choose learning German, French and Spanish. But I learn Polish and I think this is more useful than learning the other mentioned languages. In Norway there are lot of workers coming from Poland, and some Germans as for the French and Spanish people I never meet them. I am a driver for a living and when I deliver to building sites Polish can be very useful. For me I can say that to learn Polish is a better option and more usefull than learning Spanish or French.

News / Don't let Poland become like my country, France. [630]

I`m a Norwegian and feel lika a stranger in me own country, and feel more at home in Poland. I envy the Polish people who still not have been eaten alive by the immigrationbug. "Lucky bastards"

go to france , take a vacation in paris , suddenly , you'll realise that your country isn't as invaded as you think it is.

Haha, I know the situation in Norway is like a walk in the park compared to France.

Food / Decent Polish Ale or Lager? [27]

You can get ales in Poland. Browar Pinta make ales, try their Atak Chmielu (hop attack), American IPA. Browar Kormoran and Ciechan also have a good variety of beers. Zywiec makes a porter well worth trying. Polish lagers are pretty tasteless, but Dębowe Mocne have a little more taste to it. Some unpasteurised lagers are also available, you can try the Kasztelan Niepasteresowane among others.

Lomza Miodowe

Tried this not to many weeks ago. Honeybeers are not my favourite style, but not to bad that one.

Food / What's your favorite Polish beer? [870]

Why are you guys naming the crappiest, big-name beers in Poland? For BEST Polish beer? Of course it's a silly question to begin with as it's all up to opinion and someone could prefer horse-p***, but Tyskie, Okocim, these are swill beers

I could ask the same question. And they are all lagers, taste the same and very boring. And the big breweries do anything to cut costs. Less hops equals less taste, you might as well drink water. Ale is always better than lagers and in Poland the best beers at the moment is made by Browar Pinta, AleBrowar and Browar Artezan. Buy one of theit brews and discover that Polish beer actually can taste something. Żywiec actually make a good beer: Żywiec Porter.
