here are you living in the northeast?

A little outside of Boston. It's okay, very expensive. Michigan is one of my favorite states too (if you avoid Detroit). Only problem is that unemployment is so bad there right now. I think they'll be okay eventually though. Very nice people there. Lots of Poles, Czechs.

With a lot of Asian and Scandinavian thrown in, lots of factions. Ironic they hate the US so much given they are mutts themselves.. Anyway , I would argue against your assertion. Russians don't consider themselves on a level with Poles, Czechs or Slovakians. Mostly to them.. those nations are their "little brothers". They are seen in the pejorative.

Maybe I'm wrong .. I'm not European.. I can admit when I'm wrong. It doesn't make me want to commit suicide.

Seriously - they DID (3 Slovakian divisions, over 51 thousand soldiers,
took part in the invasion).

Yeah.. they were pretty ardent Nazi sympathizers.. so were their cousins the Czechs to a degree. Slovaks wanted to get rid of their gypsies, etc.

..except the crazy Apple price.

While nothing in technology stands still and iPhone may catch up, as of today BlackBerry still rules the enterprise and it is ahead of iPhone for business users.

BBerrt For business users.. all the entertainment things, music etc? ... iPhone is winning that race.. even in Japan apparently.

It's true.. a lot of Pole Americans are in academia too..they're usually engineering profs.

I always see a lot of native Poles like to be "offended". They remind me of blacks in the US often... always squawking about some imaginary slight. Hell, we all get slighted sometime or another. I don't hear any other European country p*ss and moan as much as Poles do. The Irish and Mexican get made fun of more than Poles in the US, but they dont' seem to get mad about it. There used to be this Guiness commerical where these Irish kids whoop and run down on St. Patricks day and crowd around this tree lit up with green lights and open packages of beer. It was hilarious. Nobody bi/tched about it.
