Sounds like a teenager did it - there's a youth organisation called OMP that meets in the same building. Given that the message said "f*ck you OMP" it is too much of a coincidence.

The graffiti on the Polish Centre in Hammersmith doesn't look like it was xenophobic or even written by a Brit. That and any other incident is being dealt with by the police.

A friend (a priest taken out of parish work due to serious mental illness) worked for the Diocesan Marriage Tribunal as something called a 'Defender of the Bond'. He, who had never had a relationship and was so nutty they wouldn't let him near a pulpit or a parishioner was paid to argue in every case that an annulment should not happen.

In a word, ender, no they weren't, and yes, Russians do 'use tricks'. And no the British Council on Jerozolimskie wasn't a 'community centre' it was a language school and examinations centre. And I think you'll find, if you're allowed to visit Warsaw, that their premises are long closed and the language examinations centre is now elsewhere.

And no, nothing you said about Sir Oswald (surprised you didn't mention Lady Diana or the appalling Jeanne Stonor) adds to the issue of the graffiti about the OMP (now cleaned off and subject to a police investigation) on the door of POSK.
