Some Mothers are stupid. I don't think that has anything to do with them being Polish. I call it a she-cat syndrome.(It is insulting to a real she-cat, but my mum calls those mothers she-cats)

I think that is a kind of mental and/or psychological deficiency.
I don't know what is your connection to that women but I would advice to disconnect yourself from her and her issues and pronto if it is possible.

We have lots of second hand stores, goodwills, etc. where we donate used clothes and others buy them. In Poland nobody will wear clothes that were used.

Incidentally, a lot of Ukrainians prefer Russian and Russian works pretty well in Azerbaijan. I can imagine you're shocked and appalled.

My lawyer and translator during a legal process both spoke Russian and most people understand it but obviously you weren't paying attention to where I said a "a few" appear not to understand.

Sorry I have been trying to be helpful. It is really hard to pay attention to such topic as it has been debated on the PF to death.

Conclusion - you can speak to people in any langude there is. However only Polish in Poland gives you a fair chance of being understood.

If you are asking if somebody would be rattled by the Russian lingo spoken at them the answer is no! If you are asking about negative reaction to the sound of the Russian langude on the Polish street, the answers is still no!

There is no some widespread resentment against Russian people.
The point is that majority of young people wouldn't have a clue what are you talking at them. You would have better luck with English or German.

Some broken Russian would be known to majority of people who attended a school in 70', 80' and early 90' because then Russian was taught in every school on all levels.

I wouldn't expect fluency though.
Could answer why would you learn Russian? Unless it is top secret that is.

Why on earth should every single Polish (or any other nationality) person just be allowed to live in this country without any significant benefit to us.

Well I'm going to answer you, because I'm sick and tied of people popping up on this forum and asking those frigidly stupid questions. Is it so difficult to figure it out for yourself? If you cannot find the answer to such simple qestion what on Earth makes you thing that all those foreigners allowed to live in your country are not benefiting anyone?

I mean you are not benefiting from them being here and your imminent circle don't benefit from them either but how do you know that nobody gains from them being here. I think it is pretty obvious that SOME people do benefit from all those Eastern Europeans (not to mention their nationality).

As for why:
Because the British government choose to pursue such and such policy.

Every time I visited the job center, it was easily 80% Polish people going there on "claim day".

If you have nothing to give to this country, you shouldn't be here. Nor should you be here to work and export our GDP back to Poland. What right do you have to come to another sovereign nation, refuse to work, and take money from the taxpayer.

What does Lvov mean to you?

There plenty of people who feel nostalgic about Lwow and Kresy. Mostly people who were born there or their families but not only them.
Their aim - to promote knowledge about those Polish lands and to help renovate buildings, cemeteries and all other object of Polish couture left on those territories.
