In Serbian article that analyzes stance of countries regarding situation on Kosovo during session in UN security council, representative of Poland is said to have anti-Serbian position, against Serbian suggestion for more frequent talk about Kosovo situation in UN. delphe, I am surprised that you spread such an obvious delusions. Why would Russia desire to attack Poland? Why??? Russia is biggest country in the world and for sure don`t need additional resources. Even in times of Tzars and Soviets, Russia moved western on the first place in order to follow moves of western Europeans that always desired to swallow Poland. In that situation, Russia moved to take what can be taken and even then, firstly, to prevent western Europeans to came directly on Russian western border. Sure, there were periods of competition between Polish and Russian elites and movements eastern and western but, speaking in general, if western Europeans didn`t constantly move eastern to occupy Poland, Russia wouldn`t have interests to respond.

But in our time is different. Poland is part of NATO and EU. If, or rather when western Europe (ie Germany and France) move to grab Poland, Russia can`t do nothing. It will be internal NATO question. Won`t be another partition of Poland. Simple, Poland will vanish (annexed) from the map.

Or, God forbid, if start WW3, if western Europe manage to start it with Russia, Poland will be, as part of NATO, sacrificed for the greater good of western Europe and USA. In that case, yes sure, USA won`t mind to waste time on Poland. Even God wouldn't`t be able to help Poland. But that situation will again prevent Russian invasion. Who sane would send conventional army to walk thru nuclear-polluted wasteland.

That is why I constantly repeat here that Poland, same as Serbia, must be military neutral.

They need army in case that some EU member state tries to separate. If Poland tries to secede from EU, some regions of Poland may express desire to stay within EU. You can bet then, EU army would react on behalf of loyalists.

In this article, Kaczynski is seen as man who at least tries to restore Poland`s independence. Analyzer speak how Kaczinsky faces serious obstacles exactly from US and Israel, while already feels pressure from EU. On June 16 1913, in Second Balkan war, Bulgaria betrayed anti-Ottoman alliance with Serbia and Greece and attacked. Bulgarian Tzar, a German- Ferdinand Maximilian Karl Leopold Maria of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, started rapidly to losing war and called Austro-Hungaria for help. A-H told him to give up some territory in favor of Romania and they will join in war against Serbia. Bulgarian Tzar refused and A-H refused to support Bulgaria. When A-H refused to enter war, Bulgarian Tzar sent them message: ``You missing historical chance to erase Serbia from the map of Europe.``

And it was prior to Russia guaranteed support to Serbia in case of A-H assault. Also, prior to German guaranties to A-H.

Then, on June 28. 1914, happened Ferdinand`s provocation on Vidovdan (day dedicated to Svetovid) in Sarajevo and Gavrilo Princip killed him. After one month A-H attacked Serbia, Russia entered war and rest is history.

What I want to tell you, if history went in its alternative way, would Poland manage to restore its independence if not for Serbia, if Serbia didn`t exist, was erased as Blugarian Tzar of German nobility suggested to A-H? I think, it is possible that if A-H attacked Serbia in coordination with Bulgaria, they had chance to win. Serbia was tired from long war with Turks and Bulgarian betrayal of alliance and sudden attack did harmed Serbia.

So, if Serbia was back then destroyed, I am sure, neither Slavic South, neither Slavic West wouldn`t exist today. That way, Poland too wouldn`t exist. Not in any version, I am absolutely sure. There won`t be need for Poland.
