For who? Remember that there are plenty of families dependent on money flowing from the EU in some way. If anything, it would only really benefit the elites in society, who would be able to use the barriers to enrich themselves.

That much is laughable, for those of us who actually know the UK. It's well known that Poland exported a huge amount of criminality to the UK, and the weekly flights from the UK to Warsaw certainly tell us a thing or two about the people that moved to the UK.

Perhaps the record locating service will at least confirm that there is no record of him serving there? But this is Polish bureaucracy we're talking about, which once refused to accept a document from me because they didn't agree with the sworn translation. In the end, the translation had to be made gramatically incorrect in English so that it would translate into Polish correctly (don't ask...).

I wouldn't be convinced that the PDF will be accepted by the Poles too - probably, the best thing to do is to contact the embassy and ask them specifically what they want and from who. However, they are notoriously useless :(
