USA, Canada / Polish Fighter Tomasz Adamek vs Michael Grant WAR [20]

true, many people don't wanna believe how important legs are, if legs are well built you know how to position them correctly that adds much to ones punching power.

USA, Canada / Polish Fighter Tomasz Adamek vs Michael Grant WAR [20]

Grant's a bum, after being knocked out so many times a fighter's confidence is damaged permanently, he's hesitant to opening up and taking risks, doesn't wanna get embarrassed again. I think Adamek will win on points, he doesn't have the punching power to drop Grant, unless Grant don't fight back and he'll be able to land multiple combinations.

They need to know what is written on the packages they steal.

hehe i'm guessing ur a Serb, i have a Serb friend he doesn't like them at all. I met Albanians most i didn't like seamed like they thought too highly of themselves, i dunno what achievement that is based on. And Seanus said something about Albanian girls being pretty, i met one with one absolutely gorgeous, but almost all the other ones were below average. I've never met a Serb girl so i can't comment.

Genealogy / Some Macedonian, Croatian, Serbian Second Names look Polish! [38]

both languages, -ski names are considered typically Polish

No i know a Bosnian his name ends with ski, every Slavic country has ski endings even Bulgaria, it's just spelled differently, in Russia sky in Ukraine if i'm not mistaken skyj or skyi. Just like we spell Russian last names ow not ov, but we do that just to other slavic names.

Home cooking can be very cheap here and very healthy and tasty and people do not go out to any kind of restaurants much but that is changing.

Of course, why wouldn't they want to, it's nice to eat out, not stand over the fumes cooking the food and eventually loosing all taste of the food you made for yourself. But eating at a good restaurant not fast food joint. Upper middle class and upper class Americans have 10 thousand dollar Viking refrigerators that are completely empty lol, they never eat at home, always out.

We have cheap igredients

cheap good healthy ingredients, not cheap as in bottom shelf off brand crap. if it costs less in Poland that is, and it's healthier home cooking, why on earth would anyone want McDonalds, to pay more for fatty fast food? I think people in Poland who are so anxious to eat at McDonalds or KFC are the ones that wanna fit in, with that whole western thing, do as they do out west, which isn't of course always the better way, as in this example.

a good steak at a restaurant costs min. $30... plus the sides... (in TX)

i know, i said you can't even buy a good raw steak at a market, a supermarket, to take home and make it yourself, it's like 10 bucks.

I think the fact that an average Joe in the US would eat 3 big mac meals a day, proves the low quality of food and therefore living.

Exactly, no one in their right mind would prefer fast food, for good old fashioned home cooking, much more fresh and healthy. fast food is cheap, for 5 dollars you get a whole meal at McDonalds, for 5 bucks you can't even buy a nice raw steak at the market, then you need to buy potatoes, side dishes. Home cooking is more expensive and time consuming, but healthier. Not many young people in Poland with multiple "rolls" on their stomachs.

News / U.S. role in Poland is shrinking [82]

I think Poland being a friend of America is a good thing, not getting involved in foreign wars, but just being an ally. One thing, i think America as such a large and wealthy country doesn't invest enough in Poland, much smaller nations have far more money invested in our country than the U.S

Germany before France....HA!

That's nothing new Bratwurst Boy, France has been slowing down for quite some time now, in almost everything, Poland surpassed France in education a few years back.

I have to say that the idea of going back to the UK does not appeal to me at all , in fact i am going further east to Russia....

Very ambitious, not afraid to start all over again, taking risks. This is what employers are looking for, good luck Wildover.

History / The Way Back ( Długi Marsz movie) Colin Farrell, Ed Harris [27]

Polish Army lieutenant who was imprisoned by the Soviets after the German-Soviet invasion of Poland. In a ghost-written book called The Long Walk, he claimed that in 1941 he and six others had escaped from a Siberian Gulag camp and walked over 6500 km (4000 miles) south, through the Gobi Desert, Tibet, and the Himalayas to finally reach British India in the winter of 1942.The Long Walk was ghost-written by Ronald Downing based on conversations with Rawicz. It was released in the UK in 1956 and has sold over half a million copies worldwide and has been translated into 25 languages.[1] As of 2010 a film based on the book is in post-production. The working title is The Way Back.

News / Poland sends firefighters to help Russia [67]

f you can't pass the barrier of our discussion about Klitschko and Golota and primitively try to divert me from supporting of what you basically was saying two posts higher, then I feel really sorry for you. LOL

I hope that's sarcasm, surely you can't possibly be still mad about that. I like Ukrainians i have nothing against them or Russians (not including their government of course) i say what i believe or know is true, i criticize Poland also. I think Tusk is an idiot, and Komorowski looks like a dumb mule, just turn him a certain direction kick him in the butt and he'll go.

Really great. It is the worst thing to be dependant on one source.

Yea Ukraine relies even more than Poland on gas from Russia

There has also been an all-day Russian festival here in Poland. It was televised. Showing Katyń was good but sth else must follow IMHO.

Really do you know what was it called and where it occurred ?

Language / How similar are Polish and Romanian languages? [75]

I heard that typical Romanian will understand more French, Italian, Spanish guys

Yep, Romanians who moved to Spain or Italy after they joined the European Union to work, have it much easier learning the languages than Polish people.

News / Poland sends firefighters to help Russia [67]

Most fires in any country are accidentally started by humans just like here in the US.

With so many fires going on in Russia, could any of this be arson?

It's unusual heat that bean going on in and around Moscow nothing else

Sad to hear this. Let them burn for not helping Polish people in the Warsaw Uprising.

Stalin had complete control of the country at the time, Russian people suffered under his regime more than any other, blame him blame communism not the people, they didn't do anything.
