TRESPASSING ON MY LAND IN POLAND....what can i do legally...? [119]
I am not sqeamish about killing animals .
You are a hypocrite. Its very easy to decide that your eating of a hamburger is no way connected to the ****** life and terrorfying death of of a pig or cow, especially if you are brought up in the supermarket society.
You obviously have killed many animals for fun as eating meat is an optional, pleasurable, pastime. Just because you didn't witness its death doesn't excempt you from responsibility.
I stopped eating meat for 10 years becuase I didn't want anything to do with the factory farming process and because I don't particulary like meat.
I have no problem with hunting however; its honest. You kill and eat the food and can see the whole disgusting process, the animals have a completly natural existance, abeit with assistance to help them through winter. Hunters don't just hunt for trophies in Poland, the food is the main reason - its good quality.
I decide a long time ago that I would put my money where my mouth is - for instance I scaled, defined, gutted and filleted fish. I have gone along with hunts and will help prepare the meat. I may not actually eat it, but I accept that men are carnivores and we have hunted and eaten meat for millions of years. Snotty nosed attitudes like yours are one of the reasons I like Poland more than the UK, for too many British peopel think meat comes form a plastic container.
Hunters in this country are an elitist bunch who think they can do what they please and go under the guise of protecting the wildlife... yeah they do, so they can shoot it!
Hunters
manage wildlife so that they can hunt it. Much like other farmers, its a food source that is given freer range and its a very expensive way of producing food but its a hell of a lot better than factory farming which is rife in Poland. Polish pig farms are some of the worse in the world.
Hunters maybe elitist, but thats the law unfortunaly. It very difficult to get a license and thats a good thing. Problem, is they are desperate for more hunters as its so damn expensive and difficult to get into - its taken my brother in law many years to get his license and that with his father being the hunt master. Personally i cannot see that its worth all the effort.
