the shame of it is not that these girls are so nonshalant and think so little of sex (that's the result of trying to impose double standards, one for boys and one for girls) and I really don't care about that.. For me, the most disturbing aspect is the boundless, stupid materialism for which I see no end. These little heathens are capable of tearing each other to pieces over latest accessories.

it's just americans are becoming sheep and these kind of laws remind these folk from abroad why they skipped their former locations.. this is not how america is supposed to be..

an example: when a crime is committed and a suspect at large is a white male in his 30's, you better believe the cops are going to stop every male in his 30 in the vicinity. The crime here is massive illegal work force from Mexico and central America. Are we really asking the law to check out just as many white people as latin ones? Does that make sense?

I think many people that come here from politically opressed countries are blowing this out of proportion. When an officer of the law, here, in the good old US of A asks me for identification, I don't freak out. I usually try to strike a conversation with the poor shmuck that picked such a ****** job. And I'm not sure I want to be on the side of those that don't want the local law to know who they are.

And seriously, do we want everyone in Arizona to get ID'd? There are not enough hours in the day! The problem they are trying to solve, after all, is illegal immigration from the south.

Only another Pole can understand!
There are many reasons why we always find the down-side of things. One - we are humble. When someone says 'what a beautiful dress you have", we answer: oh, this old thing? I paid too much for it. Us putting ourselves down is NOT a sign of low self esteem, it's a form of politeness.

Two: we are tinkerers - we constantly looking for things to fix. If everything is just honky-dory, we have nothing to improve.
Three: we like to be prepared. It's always better to have your umbrella than to think positive while soaking wet.
And four: we do like to have a little ache in our hearts... we like melancholy songs, yearning for unachievable goals... that's what makes us great poets and musicians.

And to me, this power of positive thinking crap is definitely much more annoying than analysing (or ripping into, or laughing at) what's wrong with the situation.

If you think a joint looks like a roll up, you must have only seen very bad roll-ups or very bad joints.

What do you mean? One can roll either one anyway one wants to. Especially since many spliffs are rolled by mixing tobacco and marijuana. You can't tell by their look.

oh, I don't live in a gated community, I just have to listen to those that do.
Re: Adams family... yea, some people are stupid. This kind, and much worse than that kind of news is what sends people running to gated communities. But, you have to keep in mind that 75% of America is still all white, with 15% latino and 12.5% black. I don't think I'd mind black or hispanic family moving next to me, if they can affort it. What worries me is the druggies - pill poppers, coke/meth users, and those, increasingly, are white.

I live in Florida in a deed restricted community. , So what is wrong with living in a safe and clean inviroment?

Florida has sandy soil and very shallow ground water. Maintaining turf grass harms the environment. That's neither safe nor clean.

whoa... whoa... aren't you assuming a bit much? Trust me, you never met anyone like me, but that's besides the point. You think gated communities are great, I think they're not. People who get so mad at different opinions usually don't enjoy life as much as they claim they do. And when they resort to personal attacks, it's a sure sign they don't believe their arguments can stand on their own merits.
