Then there is a number and and it says cheap tow/recovery on the bottom.

Given that the car is not a write off and does still work, even though it's old, it might still work.

The more I hear her talk, the more unlikeable she becomes and the less inclined I am to believe she. As I said before, way too calm, and even somewhat arrogant, for somebody who went through such a 'traumatic' experience.

By the way I have heard countless stories of Brits going to Poland just for a holiday, getting drunk and then trashing the bar and damaging everything. Apparently it's gotten so bad that some of the Polish bars actually ban British people from entering, because they've never been subject to anything like this before the arrival of the the glorious Brits.

This is one of those 50/50 stories.

It's very unlikely the cops went for this guy for no reason. In one of the linked clips under the youtube video, that shows the incident from a different angle, he does appear to be behaving in an aggressive manner to the police.

I agree though that the video also appears to show him being beaten with a baton as he is lying face down on the floor surrounding by police.

So it seems there are two questions that jump out and the answer to both is the same.

Did he deserve to be apprehended?

Probably yes

Was the treatment of him by the police too physical and over the top?

Probably yes

Well 300 zloty is about 84 dollars, so that's a lot for a game, no matter what the title.

70 is closer to 20 dollars - probably for older games. So if these prices are real, as you can see, not exactly cheap.

It might be doable but although I haven't bought a video game in Poland for a while, I can tell you the last time I looked at [Playstation] games, not only were they not any cheaper than in the UK, but some were actually more expensive.

You can get a lot of things on the cheap in Poland when compared to the USA or western European countries, but video games and electronics in general do not seem to be one of them.

You have to snap out of this imaginary world you have created for yourself where you think that certain people on this forum, including me, do nothing but defend people just because they are Polish.

It is you who immediately puts up a link to any article that suggests a Polish person might be guilty of something [unless of course they are in PO or somehow related to them]. What is your aim?

Believe me I have met plenty of nasty Polish people in my life and know people who have even helped some Polish people who were in need and later turned out to be nasty pieces of work with a criminal past.

In this particular case though, the more we learn, the more unlikely it is that this was a real kidnapping.

Aaaah they were just trying to 'show us' that while we 'unfairly target' Arabs and people from the middle east for kidnapping women, it's actually Polish guys who are normally responsible for this.

The news that 'the kidnapper' contacted the media to sell the story is probably the most telling. What kidnapper does this?

It seems this guy has some serious insecurities and wanted to big up how 'dangerous' he was. As for her, a great opportunity to make a name for herself as a former kidnapped model.

I hope they both get seriously punished if this turns out to be a load of bull, as I suspect it will.

Erm, nobody is even slightly suspicious of this model?

She didn't seem all that shaken when talking to the cameras in front of her home a few days ago. Given how she was kidnapped and held hostage for so many days, thinking she would die [as she put it herself], you'd think she might, oh I dunno, not want any cameras in her face for a while as she gets over the traumatic experience?

It has also emerged that she went shoe shopping with the kidnapper [as mentioned earlier] and he bought her gifts every day. They slept in the same bed, even though she first stated that she was tied up for her entire stay there. He obviously seemed to have a lot of trust in her that she wouldn't run away.

Oh and then there is the odd and completely unheard of occurrence of the 'deadly kidnapper' just releasing her when he found out she had a child. Yeah, sure.

Now media everywhere wants to talk to her and her name is becoming more known. Seems to perfect for a model who wants to push her career to the next level. Hmmmm, I wonder and personally, even though I obviously can't say for sure, call BS on this.

It was hardly a snub. My guess would be her husband was shaking Trump's hand, so Agata Duda decided to go and shake Melania's hand in the meantime. As it turned out, the two presidents finished their handshake quickly [normally Trump has his grip on someone else's hand for a while] and Trump stuck his hand out to Mrs Duda when she was already on her way to Melania.

First of all, it's only a slightly majority. Take the poll again and ask different people - you might get 52% the other way.

Anyway, as mentioned above, it is not a surprise. Civil partnerships are not considered as bad. Just like Polish people don't think it should be illegal to be gay, man of them are also not against civil partnerships. This is probably [and hopefully] as far as Polish people will go with tolerance in this issue though. As the poll shows, 58% are against marriage and a much greater 80% against the adoption of children.

I don't know why I or anybody else bothers replying to these.

What normally happens is someone joins the board to ask a question, usually about work in Poland or a relationship with a Polish person. A bunch of people reply. The person who asked the question is then never heard from again, or they might interact once or twice after their first post and then they are never heard from again. Meanwhile for the next few days a bunch of us on here debate this person's personal issue, even though they have long gone and lost interest.

I'm not suggesting this incidents proves anything, as we don't know if the woman on holiday in Turkey is telling the truth [although I can't see why she would lie].

It is better that he is being honest with you rather than lying and it seems even though he warns you, you are in love with him and ignore the warnings.

I would advise asking him the following question. Do you think the way you live is okay and do you want to stop being a 'bad' man?

If he doesn't think it is okay and wants to change, then you have something to work with. If he says he will always be bad, that's just who he is, then it would be an idea not to stay with him, you will only be hurt in the long run, no matter how much you think you love him.
