Russia says: WE'LL NUKE POLAND [150]
The United States (NATO) just sent two stealth F-22 Raptor fighter jets to Romania to deter Russia from anymore of their buzzing games.
The fighter jets landed at the Mihail Kogalniceanu air base near the Black Sea port of Constanta in southeast Romania, located less than 400km from the Russian military stronghold of Sevastopol on the Crimean Peninsula.
A U.S. statement said they possess sophisticated sensors allowing the pilot to track, identify, shoot and kill air-to-air threats before being detected.
The fighters also have a significant capability to attack surface targets.
"These aircraft have the ability to project air dominance quickly, at great distances, to defeat any possible threat," Lt. Gen. Timothy Ray, 3rd Air Force commander, said in a release.
I couldn't imagine being a Russian fighter pilot knowing that an invisible boogie man was in the air next to him, watching him, had the capability of blowing him out of the sky and there was nothing he could do about it.
Bet Putin isn't real happy with this move by NATO.
A high ranking U.S. commander stated that if Russia put American lives in harms way again that it wasn't going to be a happy ending.
And the saber's rattle a little louder.
