i think, i could combine it with a trip to Poland... a week in Poland and then take off to Maldives...
i don't think this thread is about it... i think it's about how you feel about a country you settled in...
i love Poland, but i built my home in the states... i think it'd be also hard for me to go back and start a new life in Poland... but i'm not saying it's not doable...exciting if you have the attitude...
With connections and all you could fly from DFW and land in London 12+ hours later and catch your Malé flight from there... :)

just add lots of spices and you won't even taste the old fish! lol
sometime Poles call "bigos na winie" - co się nawinie to do gara... more or less, whatever you find in your fridge, any leftovers you add together and call it bigos...lol
the cabbage for freaking years...it tasted like old fish :/

you can do it that way.... but you have to boil it of course, it'd wouldn't be called bigos otherwise... :)

i would like to bake an apple pie as a romantic dinner desert (served warm with ice cream....yummmms....), but i would worry that it won't come up right (not a dough both in a store)... i miss my mum's szarlotka...:)

lol.... kids are funny that way.... i still remember some words me and my brother made up as children, but i keep them for myself...lol...everybody forgives a child and everybody giggles with a foreigner...:)
she was younger, LOL. She couldn't pronounce W as in wujek. She said chujek, LOL. Chujek and Ciota for uncle and aunt,

oh yeah.... i saw that place online... wouldn't you like to have a fish dinner there....lol
in general, foreigners assimilate well here... what drives me crazy, some don't want to let go of their country-culture-language and they are stuck... bring your own culture but be open to the one who hosts you...imo...

well, i can tell you what i didn't like in Polish language... something that many foreigners struggle with, even on this forum... it's cases (przypadki)...but i was very young...later on it came natural so there is some hope foreigners... :)
