Love / Maintenance for child born between Irish/Polish parents. [60]

dumbfounded

Dont be, it happens all the time.
I think there are new EU laws coming in or already in, that help people with your situation. I heard about it on the radio a couple of months back.

Even a good job in Poland can be sh1t pay so you may get very very little, but if he has 2 houses in his own name you may be on to something.

BTW He sounds like a b0lox.

Life / Any treatment centres for homos in Poland? [455]

This whole gay argument goes in circles. I thinks its all down to people who lack the ability to accept contrast. It a form of mass autism were people have to have a black and white world, and if colors begin to merge, they burst into rage. I can't think of anything more enjoyable than getting a bl0w from Angelina Jolie and some men would prefer one of Brad, so be it. The problems of the world lie elsewhere; so basicalyy what i'm trying to say is, T Z, maybe your just retarded.

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

Immigration had little or NOTHING to do with it.

If you really think that then...............................discussion is pointless. Like telling a thirsty man in the desert that water is not the issue.
Immigration had nothing to do with property bubble.
Thats your view lets end it there.Agree to disagree. I"ve said all i can say in previous threads on the topic.

I forget exactly the % but in the 3 yrs 2005-07 Polish Property prices went up in 40%,60%, 70%. Was immigration not the big player here.If not please explain??

There was no Polish salary increase anywhere near this significance.

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic

Property has seriously gone down in these countries especially hungary. The reason for the long saturation point in Polish property is due to the mass immagration. The Polish property prices are going down the slowest in area's like Lublin, as these are the places that had the highest immigration.

he big drop just hasnt happened

This is what they all said in Ireland for years and then bang. The Polish situation is how-ever completely different as it has nothing to do with the Polish economy. I personally know a lot of Poles here in Ireland who own property(s) back home. When and if these people return things will change.

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

I predict stagnation for the next foreseeable year, i don't think prices will drop much further,

Time will tell, the property bubble grew out of Poles working and pumping money in from abroad, the world down-turn may force the Poles back to their 7000 euro Polish jobs. This can only bring prices down.

you think they're going to say something different

maybe not, but they would be less inclined to side with the snarky sharky developers here, who claim that there was never a bubble to begin with and that Polish wages have hugely increased.

Small city apartment or large house with land - outside a city for the same price, its a no brainer.

Is this the case all over Poland and its cities?? eg Lublin

Maintenance for child born between irish/polish parents.
This is what the heading says. So money is the issue, this guy has and is a runner.
At the most he will be means tested and forced to pay what he can afford. Which would be buttons and not worth a sh1t in Ireland. Maybe it would pay for 3 days nappies. Sorry for sounding grim but i have a point. I think you know well what i mean

If he goes back to Poland, at the most he will have to pay a percentage of his income,so he may only have to pay about 30 euro a week max. If he pays rent and is on a typical crap Polish wage, he will not be even worth chasing for the money, it would be buttons in Ireland.

News / New cross war in Warsaw [530]

The Gods of the past are today's symptoms.

good point

A perfect example is how Abraham would have been front page news as the guy who heard voices telling him to kill his son Isaac.
And we would have been shocked but instead it is being taught to children about how to love God.
My point is that religious people like this stuff, after all they are nuts.

The Abraham story is metaphorical ,i think you over-rationalizing hence simplifying a story of huge sociological importance. However the cross mob are nut-cases, that is a fact.

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

i hear the main properties that are selling are small city apartments in the 200,000 - 300,000 PLN range.

well in a country with an average industrial wage of 7500 euro,i thing for that price you would want to be getting a very large apartment or a house in the city centre.

On another point if Maslows hierarchy of needs is anything to go by it is quite strange how little discussion there is about the real-estate bubble and income levels in Poland.

This can only mean, as i have said earlier, there is simply far to little Polish people on this forum.

You have a major problem with punctuation and putting a sentence together. Are you a little bit retarded?? because the BNP and combat 18 are nazi organizations and they may come after you, if this is the case.

Feedback / The image of Poland according to PolishForums [90]

Do you think there is too much pointless discussion on unimportant matters?

yes and when you bring up an important issue, certain people make it pointless in purpose

Do you think that the atmosphere here is friendly, neutral or hostile?

Hostile if you speak about the actual economic situation of the country.
The vast majority of people on this forum are not Polish they are British(a lot of them own properties and a are aggressive developers) . So its far from factual.

Life / My own thoughts about life in Poland (have lived here for two years) [133]

I would imagine the government works hard to keep the wages down so as to encourage foreign investment and keep the country competitive. Thanks to the ultra free-market right wing government who could not give a f0ck about the workers and their criminally low wages.

And also developer work hard spamming lies that wages are high and all is well, so as to attract real-estate foreign investment.
The truth is caught between a rock and a hard place.

Work / Cost of Living, Average Salaries and Job sites in Poland [263]

I simply can't imagine going to college for 5 years, walking out with a master's, and taking a job that pays $600 a month but that's what a lot of entry level jobs pay here, and this is Wroclaw, not East Bumbledump Zdroj.

From the Polish people i know it seems to be the norm.

Work / Cost of Living, Average Salaries and Job sites in Poland [263]

Pubben said the following
Which brings me to my next point. Wages. Stupidly low. The average wage is 3200 zl per month (2009 Polish government statistics) now this is the average of everyone in the country, from the very highest earners to the lowest. Anecdotally, most people seem to earn around 1500 - 2000 per month. Starting a career is a joke: "So we really like you, what's the lowest you're prepared to work for?" A friend who could not find work as a Child Psychologist went for a job in an office, she'd had some office experience and just needed a source of income. She was told afterwards that she had priced herself out of the job by saying she was not prepared to work for less than 1200 zl per month.

Life / My own thoughts about life in Poland (have lived here for two years) [133]

Salaries are ridiculously low in relation to all the costs you incur here.

Im glad to see, at last, a bit of fresh air about reality in Poland.

I see it can be quite tribal.

Man tell me about it.. A lot of people(about four who attack in group) here have the job of constantly pumping positive information about the economical situation of Poland, which is consistently false.

The passion for truth is silenced by answers which have the weight of undisputed authority.
