The only reason any Jew should visit Poland is to visit the death camps, which should be a very good reminder why Jews should never live in Poland!!

Polish Jews are encouraged to see more of Poland than just the death camps, to get a feel of what it was like for hundreds of years being a Jew in that part of the world. The death camps only existed a short time.

I live in Canada and wonder why Poland get their gas imports from Russia- their biggest enemy since, oh I dunno, the beginning of time! I remember a couple of years ago the Ruski's turned off the supply for a while (which affected Germany too). What is Poland doing to diversify it's supply?

Most the time places buy gas, coal, or oil from wherever they can get it at a good price. Even if Poland and Russia remain tense, Poland still needs natural gas to heat water, homes and businesses, so they will buy from wherever is cheap and easy. It's got nothing to do with politics, more to do with supply and demand.

Yeah but the point is, in Gran Torino, there was an old school Polish American man living in an Old School Polish American neigborhood in Michigan. It was obvious the dude was a Polish American dealing with ethnic change in his neighborhood. It went from Polish to Hmong.

The point being, there is dog crap where ever there are dogs. People don't always clean up. At the jog park I exercise at, some people have the little blue baggies on their hands and happily clean up after their dogs, while others just let the dog crap, shrug and walk away, sometimes right in the middle of the paved jogging trail so someone's foot can fall right on.

I don't think Hollywood is anti Polish as much as it is anti European. It was built by Jews and Jews, generally have had an historically negative view of Europe as a place of witch hunts, oppression, inquisitions, pillaging and rampant anti semitism. They view it the way a minority views a country...the country is oppressive and evil unless you are a member of the majority. That is, unless you happen to be a minority that rules the country, which is a different story altogether.

Hollywood, in the past, has taken this view of Europe. It's just part of being American.

One Polish fisherman and his family and you think all Poles are like that? You should see the mess made in the state I live. It's like, some people think it's okay to be slobs, and there are a lot of people who think that way. It is gross when people do not properly dispose of their baby's diapers, or let their dog poop everywhere and not clean it up, like at the dog park. It's a common problem. I bet some Brits and Irish litter, too.

That's right, don't even question how she "found" the email. Just accept it as part of women's providence to do the sneaky stuff. So you wouldn't mind if I looked through your purse without you knowing it......right?

Leave it to ZIMMY to pick up on life's little subtleties. Actually, how she found the email was the last thing on my mind. She must have access to his account which means, he likely gave her the password, so why shouldn't she go have a look?

EpicMe can give him an ultimatum, he's got to stop sending the love letters or she's out of there. She owes him no apology since he gave her the password and told her she could look anytime.

Twice, I've had women snooping around my stuff and both times I told them they didn't have to do it anymore. I said, "I don't trust you, you seem insecure, and our relationship is finished, have a nice life."

How would they snoop around your stuff? Was it emails? There is no way a woman can find your emails unless you want her to. She can always hack, but most women aren't hackers, they just gain access because their boyfriends hand over the keys to the house.

Once inside, it's only human nature to have a look around.

Women and kids both. Kids get bitten most of all. It's because their skin isn't as tough.

to cold & damp in the UK, at least I thought.

Maybe in winter, but not in summer. Anyplace that stays warmer than 55 f in summer needs to spray for them.

Superpower means you influence much of the area around you and are the dominant force in that area. Like the Brits, Americans, Germans (during wwi and ii) Russians, Chinese, etc. Even the Khmers in Cambodia were superpowered at one time, though it was long, long ago.

Super Powers come and Super Powers go.

At one time, I am sure Poland will be a superpower.
