Work / Anybody know about Datainvest Company in Torun? 4500 PLN net salary. [4]

This company is not well known in general. I haven't seen any single report, review about this business, even in Polish.
The salary strictly depends on the kind of job. What's your specialization? 4500 net is good for an average Polish standard, but IT jobs are often more lucrative.

Genealogy / Relationship between villages of Lipiny and Redziny in Poland [4]

From the information over internet I can conclude that Lipiny is a main town and Rędziny is just a part of this village.

Life / Swimming pool/swimspa manufacturers in Poland, private pool regulations, lakes safety [5]

manufacturers

I found this site - there's a list of Polish manufacturers of swimming pools:
basenywpolsce.pl/firmy.html

I believe you can build an own pool on your private area while maintaining the basic safety standards.

According to lakes, nobody will harpoon you. Just look if there's no swimming prohibition. I never saw any abandoned net in water where people were swimming. So look for places where people are present and you'll be safe.

An interesting article here about the VAT cost when building an own pool:
biznes.interia.pl/podatki/news/jaki-vat-od-budowy-przydomowego-basenu,2368128,4211

In short, there are two possibly VAT rates for such constructions: 8% and 23%. And which one will be applied depends on how big is the flat or a house by which the pool will be constructed. And also the second question if the pool is permanently connected with the home or may be transferred to another place. In this second case the VAT is 23%.

Regarding the size: if the building or an apartment, where (or in which) a swimming pool (or minipool) is built, does not exceed 150 sq. m for apartments and 300 sq. m for houses then the tax rate is 8%, otherwise the 23% VAT will be applied.

And one more thing. It is advised to purchase the full building service:
Those who build houses less than 300 sq. M, and want to have a pool, should order the entire service in one company, including the purchase of equipment and then their assembly - then they save on tax.

If they make a mistake and buy eg. Jacuzzi bath separately, and later arrange the installation, then they will pay the lower VAT only on the assembly service.

Travel / Is there any left luggage area in Poznan? [4]

There's also possible that you'll find something on the main bus station. But try the lockers at the train station first, I'm not sure how "large" they are - some mentioned on the other site that it may be a problem with bigger luggage.

Study / Coming to the University of Information Tech and Management in Rzeszow [5]

I read some opinions about this school and in general they are quite positive. Let me quote one of comments (translated from Polish)

If you are interested in computer science then I honestly recommend the programming specialty. Each class is performed in a fantastic way, mega interesting. I appreciate this university very positively, high level of learning, it meets all expectations.

In regard to a job for talented students. There's of course a chance to get some scholarship, or even a job before graduating, but I wouldn't count on it. Polish language is mostly required and, as I read, you just intend to study it. And this is not an easy task. Very hard to grasp it in a "limited time". Check maybe those threads, maybe you'll come across some good hints:

Law / Is there such a thing as a family visa for Poland? [2]

The 'family' visa to Poland exist and works for foreigners who have right to the family reunion, their case was positively verified in Poland, and who obtained temporary residence permit from Polish Voivode.

This permit is granted for the spouse of a Polish citizen, a minor child from relationship and also for family members (spouse and underage kids) of a foreigner residing in Poland. The marriage which must be valid and recognised by Polish law.

Life / Poland Mobile Service Providers [5]

I am willing to pay about 110Zloty (25euro) per month

For this amount you will get more than you expect in most of Polish networks.
I checked first random provider - Play - and for 95zl per month they offer unlimited internet with full speed available.
You have to purchase Play Internet na Kartę sim card - starter for 50zl (for this you have 12gb of data in a year free) and for no limit internet (in one month) you buy extra 'Nielimitowany transfer' for 45zl

Law / Foreign currency accounts in Poland [49]

Paypal to paypal is cheaper it seems, however if you're not ebay buyer it's not much useful in Poland to have it - although you still may withdraw the money from your paypal (Polish) account to a connected Polish bank account with a small fee.

sgtir.edu.pl/eng/page/tourism-and-recreation-master - Warsaw School of Tourism and Hospitality Management

SGH and Vistula seems to be a bit more reputable schools, but the living in Warsaw may be more expensive.
So it's not easy decision overall.

Life / A rumour about the need to give passport copy when you buy a prepaid sim number in Poland? [23]

It's just a weird rumour I believe. Nobody ever asked me for any documents beside banknotes issued by the National Polish Bank.
Go to any kiosk with newspapers and ask for a sim card - you will pay 5PLN plus any top-up.
The documents are required when you enter a contract for telecommunications services - but there's no agreement for this, unless you want to register such sim card (which is not necessary).

Language / "TO" or "ONO" / "i je je"? [20]

You are trying hard Lyzko but still your Polish is far from perfect. Let me correct your sentences:
TO jest prezent dla kolegi.
Mowa TO srebro, milczenie TO złoto - but the correct saying is: Mowa jest srebrem, a milczenie złotem.

TO jest ważne być czujny.

-> Better just say: Ważne jest aby być czujnym.
Don't stop learning ;)

Travel / Luggage shop in Krakow? [4]

No - take the ones that look tough, durable. The more expensive are usually stronger. But don't exaggerate and get nothing too fancy - they may attract thieves. Look at wheels, they are very important - big, wide track, suitcases frame should be also generally decent.

And no black of course - everyone has black ;)

Genealogy / Orzechowski Coat of Arms/ Family Crest [3]

I just found this site: gajl.wielcy.pl/herby_main.php?lang=en
and according to it the Orzechowski surname may be assigned to the following coats of arms:
CIOŁEK
LUBICZ
OKSZA
ORZECHOWSKI
RADWAN
ROGALA
TOPÓR

You can check every Polish name or if only a heraldic graph is available then the site will show the possible coats of arms - it seems nice search tool.
