UK, Ireland / Do Polish Immigrants in Great Britain hate each other? [60]

How is it an infatuation??
Before this i posted 3 days ago.. before that my last post was 4 weeks ago..
I am a member of many forums.

The average British person on here has a good opinion of Poles because they work with them. And rightly so.. they are probably mostly good people

The average person doesn't get to meet the criminal gangs, the single mummies and the benefit scroungers.

We do have political correctness ******** in this country but i don't believe it extends to the judicial system.

Some old judge on 200k a year, isn't going to worry about trivial ******** like skin colour.

I can't be bothered arguing with you. You're oh so typically Polish - Been here a few years, now expert on everything.

I'm not sure which part of the country you live in.. but Black people beings stopped for being black? Can't be nice :D

What's with the obsession with VW Passats??

Whenever there's a story about Polish criminals, the comments are incredible predictable. Blaming "negro" and other Immigrant communities.

Discussion of Social Benefits is rife! Infact the website editor has a special place in his heart for UK benefits. Lots of stories are about social welfare. Must be a huge part of the Immigrant Polish community. It plays heavily in their minds.

Story about an criminal Pole..

First comment -

gdyby byl czarny z brytyjskim paszportem, dostal by 10lat nie wiecej / if it was black with a British passport, got to 10 years, no more

Reading some of the articles on wiadomosci.onet.pl/regionalne/wielka-brytania-i-Irlandia/.

(Yes' they've listed Britain & Ireland as a region of Poland)

Amongst the usual mocking of the UK.. calling us fat, ugly and lazy blabla AND the blatant racist rantings about everything "negro this" "negro that" etc etc

It seems to me that Immigrants posting on news articles are always at each others throats.

Accusing each other of working at the "kitchen sink" is common.
Driving a Passat TDI "piece of scrap" is another.

I know 'flaming' is quite common on the web, but with these Poles in exile (their words, not mine) take it to a new level!

Entertaining though!

Poles were never needed. Contrary to popular belief on this forum - before 2004 the UK was doing relatively well economically.
Our potatoes were being picked, our warehouses were manned and our toilets were clean ;)

I'd hazard a guess that there are more EU immigrants here doing mundane tasks (factories, fruit picking) that anyone can do.. than "skilled trade" work.

By the way, what do you think about Polish people who attend colleges and universities in the UK?

Erm no problem.. people from all over the world come to study at our universities..

My beef is with the people who come here "for a better life" at the detriment of the British tax payer.

Why can't the Pole-Brigade here just accept the truth about the abnormal clannish behavior of the Poles in the UK.
Put it down to the harsh times of communism or some **** like that, I don't care.. just accept it and stop arguing :)

I've been abroad more times than you could imagine. I've lived away a few times as well for extended periods. Never have i tried to find a "British" version of anything.

Irish/British pubs abroad are different. They cater to everyone (Everyone likes beer don't they?) menus are in native language and english.

Merged: Pole Nationalistic Behaviour

It seems to me some enterprising Poles forget which country they're in. They also forget their primary market - English speakers.

Prime example - visagebeautysalon.pl

Do British/Other women not get their hair cut?

Maybe someone should "Kontakt" them, informing them they're actually in England, most people speak English only and it'd probably also do their business the world of good as well if their website was in ENGLISH and a .co.uk domain name.

The most pathetic example i've found recently - polish veterans ..
For Polski-Speaking cats and dogs naturally

This highlights the incredibly "weird" mentality of the Poles. We have many foreigners living in this country, i've never seen such widespread clannish behavior though.

Yes very patriotic. But visiting is enough, flights are cheap. Most families come over anyway.. like i said we have many elderly Poles here scrounging of us.

Plus opening Polish Sausage Shops everywhere gives a feeling of home,.

What utter garbage.

Why would anyone leave this country to earn 200 quid in Poland when they can earn more sat on benefits in council housing??
Some are even making arrangements to ship their elderly/disabled parents over here.

There must be exceptional circumstances why any Pole would move here then go back.

UK, Ireland / Do the poles like British culture [127]

Not really....

There's a minority of good Immigrant Poles here, who behave like guests in our country and integrate well. Usually these people are well educated and/or working amongst the British and other nationalities.

The rest are just peasants... in income, and in mentality.

Working in factories amongst their own kind. They rarely associate or make friends with British people. These are the same ones that shop exclusively at Polski Sklep, only drink Polish Beer and scour online forums seeking their local Polish Mechanic or Polish Salon.

Apparently "English Women" stink and have poor hygiene. This is a whole forum thread with lots of agreement.

British people don't know how to grow vegetables, and most of us think a Granny Smith is a Potato.

Our kids are thick as well.

Absolutely incredible that a nation of stinking, retarded people could achieve so much in it's history for the benefit of man kind.

UK, Ireland / Should UK Poles be forced to attend English language courses? [10]

Interesting Post by a lady here

mojawyspa.co.uk/forum/76/43266/Jobcenter,0

The google translated version of her post is:

is this normale of the courses are sending Poles who speak English poorly? what is the point? if you do not understand half of what they try to knock me to the head? most in this irritates me is that if you do not I finish my course zabiorom allowance ... Apart from the fact that I have to walk on the course and at the same time 50 hours a week to look for work spreading cv ..

Basically, she is not happy about the Job Centre sending her to English courses.. She's claiming benefits btw.

What do you think?
