Life / Poland has to pick a nation and accept 3 million people of that nation - who do you choose [59]

westernmost part of the United Kingdom.

not the majority view of the Island,or of the planets population, Im afraid. Democracy eh!!

You want to remove half my family from Ireland? I think people would have a thing or two to say about that.

No,of course not, but, I would make a generous donation to the British people of the six counties, to help with the flight, if they decided to move.

No, just ignore the pr1ck from here on, unless, of course,he promises to get counselling on how 'to be human'.

They are not people of means either yet their hearts put themselves into a position of sacrifice for the benefit of others.

flip you lid and start putting them down.. he hasnt experienced anything bad so WTF.. step off!

bollshit, the guy was basically, telling foreigners to get out of HIS country, if they don't like everything there(complaing is a luxury permitted only to native Poles). Whats positive about behaving like a pig.

There's malecontents on every forum.

very true, and it should be confronted with logic every time it raises its ugly head, unlike TV and newspapers etc were malecontent is boss and can't be confronted.

I think if you don't have anything good to say, you should not say anything.

You sound like a fascist in diplomatic clothing; I'd say you were fond of the time, in Poland, when Social Realism was shoved down peoples necks, if you didn't like the positive way society was going, you could always go on a permanent holiday to Siberia.

Mods, I'd even suggest a warning for this guy's harsh rhetoric and inflammatory stance.

No, just ignore the pr1ck from here on, unless, of course,he promises to get counselling on how 'to be human'.

Life / What is Poland B as opposed to Poland A and the otherway-round. [45]

The places in dark blue (Poland B) are also the places were property prices have remained at 2007 prices, as the majority of property there, is purchased by Poles working in the West. This is one major difference between A and B.

Real Estate / Buying a property in Poland to rent out from the UK [82]

Could you at least give us some indication as to when this 50% crash is coming?

Patience is a virtue, I said soon, unlike you and the rest of the casino capitalists, I don't gamble.

Real Estate / Buying a property in Poland to rent out from the UK [82]

is pretty much cornered by the banks nowadays,

The banks will not lend, because they know property prices are inflated by at least 50%.

Either the prices start to drop drastically, or Polish wages(explode) go up. When one of 'these' happens, the banks will lend, and I doubt wages will go up in this current climate. Prices are stagnant since late 2007 because it's a stalemate, and the big players are in denial or running for the hills or posting brown envelopes to politicions/journalist.

Real Estate / Thinking of buying an offplan Luxury Property Wroclaw [79]

Thanks for all this thoughtful input. Perhaps I can use my visit to educate myself rather than rushing to buy.

Why invest in Poland?? Property in Ireland has dropped 51% and it is expected to drop a further 10% this year. The minumum wage in Ireland is over 8 Euro an hour , while in Poland it is 2 euro an hour and property prices tripled between 2004-07 and remain stagnant.

Together we now have 36 apartments.

I bet you have!!!

The Polish economy is one of the best in Europe but because of the cultural negative mentality property prices are depressed.

LOL

Real Estate / Poland's apartment prices continue to fall [1844]

certain to race upwards again sooner or later. "

This is not to do with me, it is about the use of the word "certain',
the author is certain about what he says. I wonder, just how CERTAIN he really his?
CERTAIN

So your prediction of a 60% price crash has not happened then?

no the market is stagnant, time will tell. Im not 'certain'.

dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2017817/Poles-sending-home-3bn-year--pay-4-5m-week-benefits.html

Polish workers in Britain have sent home £23billion in the past seven years, an official report revealed last night.

Amounting to more than £3billion a year,

So what fueled the property bubble in Poland?? Polish wages??
