give me a break I am doing my best

Come on, you were able to provide the place where this unique flag was woven but can`t do it with the place of current exhibition? It is amazing! Admit you are playing games with me/us! :):)

Yes, I know Ciepliński, he gave the idea for making that flag.

Delph

Not all Poles do it. Read some Polish blogs or other fora, quite many people admit they don`t know this tradition.

Yes, but you should provide the place where the flag is exhibited today, and not the place of its origin, in case someone wanted to see it. .

The eggs blessed in the basket Easter Saturday, then the egg is cut up and shared on Sunday represents Christs resurrection

Yes, point!

It's been seven hours now an no one can answer the question goes to show how little disinterested people are about Poland

Don`t blame me, I left home 9 hours ago and came back 1 hour ago. :):)

As for interest, yes, Facebook has kidnapped a lot of members. :) You joined in 2016 while I remember garage days when it was really crowded.:):) Life.

who knows the answer to a very simple question?

Probably your riddle is too easy, people expect sth more challenging. :):)

The white cloth represents the shroud of Christ.

On backto`s behalf: sorry, no. There is a mine in Sandomierz but it is still functioning.

A hint - the residence of twin brothers isn`t far from Sandomierz.

One more conflict and then we will introduce nicer atmosphere for a change.

Abortion issue divides Poles as well. The first picture was taken at a sharp angle so it distorts the drastic view a little but these and similar bilboards fully expose all the details when put in public places. Polish court ruled once that displaying explicit effects of abortion is legal.

  • Hitler introduced abortion in 1943

  • 25 years of banned abortion - we have enough

And your last riddle is too easy, the name of the guy is written right there.

Well, it depends...

Again there's a clue in the photo. :)

In this way you both proved you can read Cyrillic because the surname in Latin alphabet is incomplete. :):):)

One more guy and I'm finished with kidnapping this thread.

No, I thought you are only testing waters and there will be more... This isn`t a private thread, it is everybody`s.

Where can you meet him?

I know but I won`t say.
Or only a hint: in the same place as this guy below:
There is a nice legend about them - they were twin brothers, one was ugly but rich and the other was handsome but poor. One day they met a sheperdess. However, ...... oops. tbc.

Yes, it seemed surprising to me that both you and Chemikiem posted pics from the same place. :) It is Toruń, a facility hosting Cinema City, hence the signs with the names of famous films.

Who is this guy on the left?

I read that it used to be a cake shop, but long since gone, shame :(

Now there is a bank. Capitalist revenge on communist ideology.

Yep, I can see I'm going to have to make my riddles a tad tougher ')

No, keep them like that, I will delay my guessing for 12 hours until everybody has a chance. :)

I have always liked it but it doesn`t work today. :)

Sorry, it works again, was restored in 2014, as the cultural heritage of Nowa Huta district. In the past there used to be a popular pastry shop..

Certain platforms and tracks are fenced off, like in this picture.

Yes, indeed, tracks are fenced on both sides.

I see only two plausible explanations:

1. It is the extraterritorial Autobahn to Danzig which Germans have always demanded. But I thought they were turned down by Poles? Those fences mean the factual border. The people waiting at the main entrance are passengers waiting for a check in.

2. Metal scrap collectors are very active in the area. The tracks must be protected against them 24/7.

Hello, amigo! How did you recognize me?

I simply detected your perfume, it is the same you used years ago.

Where is this?

Reminds me of Nowa Huta, Central Square architecture. And I remember this neon light, I have always liked it but it doesn`t work today. :)

Oops, I was to wait until other people try. Sorry.... :)

They are waiting for the door to be opened at last so that they can commence their travel.:)

But where, how and why, I have no idea. :)

Egypt :)

On second thoughts, it is in Poznań. You were nearby the station and suddenly needed to take a pee so you went inside.

I checked all newly built or renovated railway stations in Podlasie region and couldn`t find it.

But I know the answer to the bonus question - you were going to the loo! I see WC symbol over the door.

An old railway station?

I was right, an old railway station in Chotyłów. But without that year, it was impossible to guess the exact place. :):):) It was Warsaw Brześć route, part of Berlin Moscow route.

:):) We should guess the location by seeing only a small part of that white building on the left which looks like historical, indeed. But it isn`t a church. The sign shows symbols of a crossed-out train and a bus but the words below them are indiscernible. The drab house in the background displays a board with a name which looks like WIKI Sklep but it is too obscure to discern it well enough.

An old railway station?

Chemikiem - isn't that the tower in Toruń?

That`s why I didn`t know, I saw Toruń a few times but only its skyline by the river. :):)

it's from the same trip as Łuków

We need more info. Is it in Łuków county?

Did you get to look around the whole camp? I think it is quite spread out.

Yes, we also visited the oldest part from WW1 with French POWs` graves. As for the post-war German burial place, it was still not finished when we saw it. Today it might look a bit different.

Why do you ask?

But do you know what is slightly unusual about the station it's taken in front of?

No, I didn`t know it that in 2015 they opened a public library there. I had to google it. Good! ):

Of course! It's time for me to return the pain :)

In Łuków. But they say that Łuków is in Podlasie and that`s east of the Wisła River, where you don`t go? :):)
