History / WWII Polish Exiles in Uganda [36]

Maybe you should head to that section and tell everyone who posts there that they are not Polish either.

I will attest to genealogy and ancestry being pointless nonsense, and I'm repeatedly amazed at the lengths people go to on this forum for a silly pursuit like this. I'll respect other peoples hobbies though, even if I think they're ridiculous. I'm pretty confident in saying this because I know there is not one valid, logical reason why this stuff is worth anyones time.

Hint: Sentimentality is not valid nor logical.

UK, Ireland / Missing Polish woman found murdered in Chesterton, UK [27]

hmmmm food for thought.. I hope this isnt the case.

It gets even worse. The UK has some sort of deal with the U.S which means that anyone can be arrested without a charge or evidence, and can be extradited to a U.S prison, without charge or evidence.

Law / Polish passport for a Pakistani guy in Poland? [20]

She is English and EU citizen, therefore she has more rights to poke her nose in EU affairs

Oh aye? Lest you be forgetting that "English" is not a valid citizenship to hold... anywhere. Not even in the UK. To have any "right" to poke ones nose in EU affairs, one should at the least be of a citizenship in a European Union member state. I'm afraid that "English" holds 0 weight at all in any logistical circumstance, which is why I don't use this redundant term. Power to those who do, though, they can cling on to their shred of illusionary self-worth while the rest of Europe leaves them behind in their swamp of hatred and bitterness.

3rd worlders

That's not a correct phrasing.

so I guess forums are the right place for you who can't have a god damn life in real to spread hatred.

Take comfort in the fact that they don't spread their hatred, they simply waste their own time, energy and resources into fueling their hatred, and no one elses. They can type as many words as they like on any forum, they'll only end up consuming themselves with hatred with no effect on the outside world whatsoever, certainly not on politics which is the preferred focus of many of these degenerates.

UK, Ireland / Oxford Polish bride 'heartbroken' over arrest - accusations of sham marriage [126]

I don't know how it is measured which marriages are fake and which ones are genuine. I wasn't aware there were legal limits on marriage at all. It's a religious ceremony and has no place in being legally recognised. The system is open to abuse and abused it shall be, no point blaming people for not respecting the "sanctity" of marriage.

I'm amazed that people have the arrogance to judge the Polka/Polki who did this. As far as getting money is concerned, this isn't that extreme. If you're naive enough to think that anything except money matters to most people, then you need to grow up.

£2K!!! ...She could have saved that up in a few months, even working a low paid job!

Sorry, the rest of the world doesn't sit in your priveleged shoes, princess. You're seriously out of touch with the reality of things if you think upwards of a a few thousand can be saved up within a few months.

UK, Ireland / Brit Polonia fighting anti-Polish stereotypes [46]

I don't get it. You criticize the Poles for being racist, proclaim that Britain is great because it isn't ethnically homogenous, yet you also agree profusely with the most racist and generally ignorant person on the forum?

History / "Poland's Concentration Camp" ?? [570]

I'll briefly explain; I've had conversations with people who don't know anything about WWII

Then you shouldn't waste your time talking to such people. It would take a massive effort of being willfully ignorant to not know anything about the largest war the world has ever seen. I don't see the point in adjusting something just to cater to the dumbest possible people. People like that need a lot more than some phrase changes to get some sense knocked into them.

That affects innocent Poles who are considered the bad guys.

There are no "bad guys" anymore. WWII is over, Nazism is dead, that's it. Anyone who thinks otherwise isn't going to be dissuaded by calling Polish concentration camps "Concentration camps located in Poland".

History / "Poland's Concentration Camp" ?? [570]

What's the problem? Those camps were located in Poland. Calling them Polish concentration camps leaves a little room for misinterpretation (linguistically), but everyone knows who they were managed by.

UK, Ireland / Are Polish people moving back home from the UK? [68]

Because Britain has never, ever benefited from the labour of a non-domestic people. This island was transformed into a super-rich and comfortable land all on the shoulders of the populace, and no one else.

UK, Ireland / Do Polish People Litter their own country (just like they do in the UK)? [84]

However, there are depositorites here in which people can put glass, bottles etc etc.

I don't know if it's just a local thing, but there are now trucks that function much the same as bin collecting which will swing by every week to pick up recyclables like glass and tin, and the same for hedge trimmings.

UK, Ireland / Are Polish people moving back home from the UK? [68]

How many Polish are leaving the UK as of late? and why?

Considering that we never even knew how many were here in the first place, this question also does not have an answer.

UK, Ireland / Poles living in the UK returning home or not? [63]

Why are there so many unemployed in the UK. Don't people want to work there?

Quite simply... yes. There are entire towns where people just don't have, want, nor seek employment or education. They are mistakenly referred to as the working class, even though they don't work. They live their lives by leeching from the government in benefit money, which is ridiculously high. It's been shown that you can make more money unemployed than you can in low-tier employment. I even knew one unbelievably lazy middle-class moron who got 500 GBP a month (living with his parents) for having aspergers. That's more than I made when I was working 25 hours a week.

Immigration is also a factor, but it's by no means the main one.

Life / A Girl Told Me You Have to Be Goodlooking to "sustain" in Poland. [30]

i think your blonde and other hair color makes u all look very good hahaha :D

That's pretty shallow. In any case, most people (and by "people" I mean "women") dye their hair. Black is the current "in" colour to have, so you might disappointed there.

News / UK might have anti-Polish socialist Prime Minister [29]

David Miliband, whose grandad left Poland in 1920. Grandad's brother went east to join Stalin. Father was a socialist theorist and intellectual.

Grandfather went to a Slavic country... Father is a socialist (in Europe?!?!) and, worst of all, an intellectual. What further proof do we need that David Milliband is a Pole-hating monster?

Tell us something we dont know..still descrimatated in the 21st century

Is this one of those magical times when you remember that the United Kingdom doesn't just consist of England, England, England and England? Because unless you're talking about Northern Ireland, there is no observant or objective person that would say Catholics are discriminated against in the UK. Since you always mistake your country for being only England, I'm going to rightfully assume you meant "discriminated against in England", which is even more false.

If you meant that a Catholic cannot become Prime Minister, then I'm going to assume that whatever you were smoking when you said David Milliband was attractive is still in your system, because that is also a bunch of crap. This is a majority-Protestant and secular country, which means that a Catholic candidate would simply not get as many votes as an identical candidate who happens to be Protestant. Thankfully, this country does not resemble the U.S in the shameful popularity contest that elections are, so the religion of a potential Prime Minister is very rarely called into question. As for Tony Blair, he kept his conversion a secret because it would just make him more unpopular than he already was, it would also cause unnecessary tensions, and most of all it was irrelevant to his political career at the time, and still is.

Catholic schools are being invaded by muslims who demand prayer rooms (can you imagine a catholic kid in a muslim school being given any kind of concessions?)

Catholic kid in a Muslim school, where? Not in the UK. However, if you went to some Middle-Eastern countries like Jordan and Lebanon, you'd see that Christians in Muslim schools get their own worshipping facilities, and vice-versa. Sorry if this fact collides with your ULTRA EXTREME OMG ALARMIST THE WORLD IS SO UNFAIR agenda, but sometimes you need to get a dose of reality.

there mere fact an English Catholic can not be the Priminister of his own country is a prime example

There you go again with the "England is the UK" thing. Pray tell, why does an English person have more right to be Prime Minister than a Welshman, a Scot, or even an Irishman?

So yes we are descriminated against, have been for over 500 years

Haha, hilarious. You're actually playing oppression olympics with the Catholic card? What an ungrateful, ignorant, insular, spoiled brat you are.

History / Slavic vs Germanic thinking.... and the philosophical differences [251]

It was proved that 36 % of mixed Slavic couples have children with uncurable genetic disorders.

That doesn't make sense. It's certainly true that having sex with people of the same genetic background helps to ensure the survival of specialized genetic diseases, and it's also true that people are more attracted by the pheremones of people with a more different genetic background to them (not necessarily a different ethnicity though, or at least this hasn't been explored). 36% is, however, a ridiculously huge number, so there is either something wrong with that study, or it has been communicated incorrectly.

Love / Scottish & Polish relationships [229]

Poles and Scotts can do bussines. I can imagine new free Scottland as part of future Slavic Confederation. Poland should offer protection to Scottland from English oppresores

Haha, beautiful. I couldn't come up with this kind of comedy if I tried.

News / Poland to penalise commie symbols [27]

Symbols killed my father and raped my mother, I'm glad someone has the sense to finally ban them. Symbols are inherently evil and harbouring one is a crime against everything natural and good.

Travel / Poland from a Persian Tourist's Perspective [269]

I stand by my statement that Israeli soldiers never raped an Arab woman. You can say whatever you want, but that is a fact. (This was actually studied by an anti-zionist professor in Israel who said that this is an example of Israeli racism, since it proves that israelis find Arab women not worth raping. This is the absurdity that some people reach in demonizing israel.)

Are you naive? Rape is both an inevitability and a tool of war. THAT is a fact. What is also a fact is that the IDF has both; free reign throughout certain Arab areas, and absolutely no one to deter them from abuse. Soldiers have committed worse acts with even less room than that before.

UK, Ireland / Help Renouncing UK Citizenship and gaining Polish one [24]

I'm confused. You want to needlessly give up British citizenship (something VERY useful) in favour of Polish citizenship (not so useful) so that you can move to Poland and live there, which you can already do due to your EU citizenship?

You mean Polish citizenship...EU isnt a country where one can be a citizen..one can merely move more freely...

You may think you're being clever by desperately trying to contradict me at every turn, but in the end you always prove yourself to be the fool you are.

USA, Canada / Dual citizenship - US doesn't care if you don't give up Polish passport [103]

This citizenship bollox is new and not a tradition, they went along the American style route, invented to make foreigners feel special! again...

"to make foreigners feel special" ? Erm, no. It's to give foreigners citizenship. If it was about satisfying warm fuzzy feelings then it wouldn't be a law.

Wrong. For starters, neither parent has to be British (not "English", you moron). At least one of them has to be living in the UK though.

I think you'll find that our legal system is well documented. What planet are you from, are you actually British?

Then is it or is it not a law that the Queen can dismiss parliament if she simply expresses a desire for that to happen? Because according to the law, it is plausible. According to common sense, it is not. Really, the first thing you are supposed to learn about British politics is that not all of it is written down, and many of the old and outdated traditions are still technically in effect. This is GCSE stuff. Maybe you should brush up by taking a course?

USA, Canada / Dual citizenship - US doesn't care if you don't give up Polish passport [103]

You seem to know very little about the UK, since its part of becoming a British citizen here! Or do you not consider the UK to be modern?

The UK has traditions, and meaningless ones at that. We have legislation that is hundreds of years old that, in writing, is very much official. In practise, however, this legislation is nothing, and the slight suggestion at enforcing some of the centuries-old laws that nobody has bothered to official dispose of would be laughable. Or do you really think that the Queen still have the ability to dissolve parliament on her whim? Of course not. Much of the UK system is not written down, but accepted as law simply because it is common practise and common sense. Ceremony is a part of that too, and all know it's meaningless.

I gained my right to be a Subject of Britain because my family history goes back centuries (not to 2 generations)

Hahahahahahahahahaha, do you seriously believe this?! You didn't "gain" any such "right". You were born here, so you got automatic citizenship. Don't fill your head with such fantasies that the government, or anyone but yourself, gives a **** how far your family goes back. Your parents could have come here on a space ship from the other side of the galaxy through a wormhole that leads to an alternate reality, and you'd still be a citizen if you were born here.

Travel / Poland from a Persian Tourist's Perspective [269]

Mine didnt, or should I say the Roman Catholic schools do rather well, I wonder why?

I don't know... maybe whatever factor causes Roman Catholic schools in your area to work so well is the same mechanism that causes Roman Catholic schools in my area, like the one I attended, do so not-well?

I did offer an alternative of Asian. You however were completely off the scale.

I do not care what you "offered". You made an inaccurate statement and I corrected you. Iranians/Persians are not Arabs, nor can they conceivably be considered so. You can call them Asian if you wish, I was simply correcting your mistake.

Travel / Poland from a Persian Tourist's Perspective [269]

I was actually referring specifically to my county, which performs horribly in education tables, and it shows.

How would that make sense? Since English is littered with Latin words, but its not our native lanaguge, Latin originated ancient Rome, not England, we acquired the alphabet along with lots of other european countries.

In the same way that Persians beings Arabs makes sense, of course.
