Well, Polsyr, I am not sure if you are right. I've always been a big dreamer. I'm a huge coward in fact. I'm so scared. These are just my first steps.

UK, Ireland / My dream about UK. Please help. [86]

I've been spending a lot on time, here, on PF.
Two years ago I had a car accicent what caused a longer brake in my professional life. Now i am healthy again and finally no nape hurts me anymore. However, i still give tuitions from English language and do some translating. I also look after children. Finding a steady job in my city is very difficult.

I wish I could go to Great Britain or to Ireland to look after children. I would like to live for a half a year with a well educated English or Irish family and help them, to look after a child or two children. I have 5 years experience as a teacher, also at the office as a proofreader, I speak English fluently.

I like chidren very much. They adore me because I laugh very often, I have a huge imagination to make up a new plays for them. I am a good, very nice, kind, trustworthy and well educated person. i have masters degree at pedagogical studies and post diploma course. I also could teach Polish or English language in UK. I have already my documents translated. i would like also to be assistant on lessons in English schools.

Is anybody in here who looks for a nanny or childminder from Poland who is ready from May to go to UK or Ireland possibly to work in English school in future?

Wish me luck, nice people from PF.
Can anybody tell me how to prepare for getting to GTC and how to do all the formalities?
Is it possible for teacher of Polish language (I studied Polish philology) to work as a assistant teacher in UK? i also taugh English, but I have only methodological qualifications.

So, five years experience at Polish schools at teaching English, Polish philology and dream about working in UK. What do you think about it? Can anybody help me?

Travel / Driving in Poland, are there any rules at all? [149]

As far as I am concerned, not many.
I just talked to an older man who told that among drivers is the highest percentage of unexpected death.
Many people die on roads.
I sometimes listen to the "radio kierowców" on first polish programme on the radio and it still surprises me how many people brake the rules.

I almost lost my life in car accident caused by young driver.

Who is available there?
Free Irish idiots? Maybe from othere countries? Or free children?
Nothing is for free.
For jobs you pay with your own work. Am I oldfashioned enough? I am.

Yours choice, lady kangaroo.

UK, Ireland / Unemployed Poles in Ireland : a crash course in milking the system [323]

They are not locals. They are emmigrants. Are treated. Good for them. If something is good enough for you in fact means is too bad.

They went there to work, not to milk the system.
Just. (...)Where is your ambition people?

Genealogy / My dad's last name was Polak - Do I look in any way Polish? [57]

thebadmonkey
Stereotipical you say?
Tiff, your face is interesting.
More from me? A nice although kind of an ugly look, awful haircut and style filled with courage and imagination
I'd offer you a session worth money if I were a photographer and after changing something with your hair.
You look like a bad student now. You're pretty.
Do some experiments with different clothes.

UK, Ireland / Unemployed Poles in Ireland : a crash course in milking the system [323]

Milky.
No, it's not a Riddle.
I don't understand why do people from Poland sit in Ireland and "milk" the system. Do they have a kind of personal feeling that in fact they use a system of support of a different, not their native country.

I will go further.
Why do Irish government agrees with the system for foreigners, especially Polish people? I am close to say they are useless. In fact they are.

I wasn't in Ireland for ten years, but I remember a glorious country.
Unemployment, taking jobs of the natives, doesn't suits to North. Ireland.

History / Lech Kaczynski - was he a good leader? [88]

"No longer alive" to be a pain till a** and show you I am extremely stuborn, JohnnyM means that from my point of view, he is in eternal space where people who believe there is an other reality (God and all saints) have now a good fun.

Life / Favourite Polish movies? [107]

"Podwójne życie Weroniki" is actually a French movie I guess, "White" a part of a trylogy by Kieślowski - a very good films, Tess by a Polish director Polański,

I agree with Dess Essenties that "Manuskrypt found in Saragossa" is worthfull to see.
"Popiół i diament"", "Człowiek z żelaza"/ "Ironman".
I don't like most of films which are mentioned before by other posters.
Maybe besides "Sexmisja" but only because I heard that men will not extinct like scientists consider in time of 150 thousands years.
i treat movies too seriously and I hate craps like "Dzień świra".
"Plac Zbawiciela" was good but again painful to see for me.
That's the reason why I watch a lot of American movies.

What do you think about chances of "In darkness" by Holland of getting an Oscar?

Life / Childcare / Creche in Poland - typical cost? [15]

I think mothers can stay per free often. it's donated, isn't it?
I wonder why reporters don't show situations when drunk mothers being in pregnancy or who are close to give a birth are transported by a police.

More journalist should do this.
I guess somebody should to tell them that in place like the ones per period of time stay 20 women, maybe more?
I thought there are only two till the moment when I was spoken to a lady who is retitred and works there.

History / Lech Kaczynski - was he a good leader? [88]

History will tell us in the time close to decades.
Why do you want the leader in the past?
Has he already made the decision that he wants to be retired?
Really people, have respect for others.

Po polsku / ACTA, anti-ACTA - kto ma rację? [5]

I'm sorry.
Politics is not a department of knowledge I go too deeply into.
I wiil go into a philosophical issues righ now.
Opinion of the majority is the opinion of people who are not the wisest and the smartest.
Good that we finally have demostrations. I was waiting for it. It meand the dream becomes fulfilled, the dream about not being too sleepy in Polish reality.

Poland should have the voice which should be noticed everywhere.
It' my opinion.
Too many wise people were born in the country. Too many of those who just wait for waking up.

I guess somebody who is "in love" with bezrobocie has "nierówno pod sufitem".
This is an illness and a disaster firstly for young than for old and elderly people.
No, it's not a disaster.
It' a tragedy. It's drama. It requires help.
Don't expect from me to translate what is "drama", please.
Peple who write in topics like this need help.
A lot of help. Their own help of course..
