Love / Fell in love; I need to go back to Poland for 2 months - what to say at work (UK) [50]

see each other for a little bit

We don't know each other that well after all

I've got a really good job

we both got some doubts

That will be ME left with nothing..

take it easy... you don't know him well, you love your job... don't rush things so you won't make a mistake...

So I'm thinking that maybe we should give this a try for about 2 months and then we'll both see if this is working for us. If it will the choice is going to be really easy but if it won't I'd like to come back and get my life in here back. Which means that I'd like to go back to my current job (which I like pretty much by the way).

it's a good idea...

What should I do????

family emergency 2 months leave... after that you go back to work or move to Polandia...

just my 5c.... good luck!

Love / Being Taken For A Idiot by my Polish girlfriend? [37]

So much effort, such a waste of energy! If someone is playing such stupid games, my advice is move on to someone who is more mature and knows their own mind, because lets face it we all know, if we like someone we're happy to accept an offer to spend time in their company...Or at least thats what "normal" people do..

i agree here... but we know only his side of the story... i wonder what hers is...

its all confusing and mostly for me as it seems she doesnt really give a crap

she likes bad boys, you're too mellow for her... just spank her ego a bit and she'll get back on track...

Food / Kotlet schabowy again. I love it. [47]

The thing is I waste a lot of herbs by adding them to the eggs.

me too, that's why flour before an egg... :)

Travel / Zakopane for Sylvester - is it time to book now? [32]

Pfffft, women! I give up ;p

hehe... yes, i know what i'm talking about... go there once, have fun (because you totaly will) and then go to some other place... that's the rule... ;)

Not as well known as the big "Z", they really did well for themselves.

yes, oscypki cost there so much as it would be made out of gold...

Cool, it's also expensive and crowded but it's great!

yeah...we shall see...

I will try coating with herbs before dipping in egg. I see what you mean.

no no no... first herb, then flour, then egg, then bread crumbs... very important...

Tenderize your cutlet with a mallet (beat your meat), coat it in egg but add herbs to the eggs, and then coat it with bread crumbs.

that's right... that's what i do:
tenderize
coat with herbs
coat with flour
coat with egg beaten with a bit of milk
coat with bread crumbs

sliced cucumber with sour cream.

mizeria! my foreign friends call it misery salad... ;)

Travel / Zakopane for Sylvester - is it time to book now? [32]

I live close enough to Zakopane and I wouldn't go there but I do like it off season.

i went to Zakopane for NYE a few times... it was fun, we went hiking, my tips of my hair froze, kulig & wódeczka+baran with highlanders... very recommended experience... :)

there are loads of places that are equally as good as Zakopane around the area but are less known.

these places are well known in PL...and it's awesome there...

i'll probably celebrate this time on the Krakow's Main Square... ;)
