I work for a guy who's family is of German decent, coming from present day Wroclaw (Breslau) even though it was a Germany at the time his ancestors left, he kinda feels Polish!

I think it's because after the Soviet Union fell the Ukraine didn't make much changes it was still tied to Russia. When Russian economy fell in the mid and late 90s (according to experts, something making the American Great Depression look like a fluke) the Ukraine suffered deeply too. Even today many people in it's government don't want anything to do with the west and look at mother Russia as it's role model.

Yes as always. Germans are trying to be equal and politically correct yet it's them who create their little "communities" inside Germany. It's not even a generation or two they seem to have a mentality a hundred years back. As in the other thread it showed that the intermarriage rate of Turks with Germans is only at 9%.

I am a native Polish speaker it was my first language, usually even Poles here in the States say it the proper way once in a while you'll hear masz problem, like you said yourself even in Poland.

True i work Monday to Friday (i don't believe in weekend work Americanized i guess lol) yet it's still 45 hours a week. Poles who just come over like my cousin work 60+ hours, that's just insane you're at work most the time or sleeping, that's ur life. I heard in France it's 35 hours per week, that's perfect 7 hours a day you have plenty of time left to do other things.

Poles who come to America expect they'll earn much more than is the reality and think they wont have to work as hard. For some it's a shock and they go back, or they accept it work and in a few years start their own little businesses.

Poland was the main force which defeated the Teotonic Knights that's a fact, the Lithuanians try to exaggerate their participation. It was the main Polish force which fought with the Teutons for hours and hours in the hot sun while the Lithuanians retreated off into the woods and came back later, then the Teotons threw into battle the most of their reserves AND Poles their reserves. You see even later in the battle without Poles and their reserves the Lithuanians would have perished. Plus Poland later was sucked into Lithuania's wars if it stayed the size as the Crown was at that time it would have been pretty much safe.
