They eat out less than other countries I guess. Poles love staple foods like potatoes, veggies etc and can make some really good food at home. The tradition of producing quality home cooking is well established here in Poland. Also, the money factor. Going to milk bars and eating the food they like is still quite popular but not to expensive places unless they are business people.

I agree with shewolf. It's all well and good giving States individual law-making powers but when they don't lead to convergence with other States then there's incongruence. Fish and chips, the stuff of legends. The links courses are a joy to play. Aberdeen Kings Links is a good course, a bit too open but still challenging. The course in Inverness looks classy. I'd love to play Balgownie or Murcar, they are top notch courses with some very famous names behind them, Jack Nicklaus being just one. Tom Watson once commented on how much he enjoyed playing at Balgownie. The Americans have a great appreciation for golf in Scotland. I imagine Troon and Carnoustie would be hellish tough. I guess one difference is that we don't have quite as many greens with electrifying pace which is good. No Kiawah Island stuff

Noimmigration has a point here!! I know that, in Scotland, some couples used to have 4 children but 2 seems to be the maximum these days for fear of running out of cash. The social system has been put to the sword somewhat and people who pay NI contributions feel worried. I can tell noimmigration that many Poles are becoming more aware of registration processes. 3 million Poles, over half the population of Scotland, haven't renewed/updated their ID cards which they MUST do or face imprisonment. They can't get credit and will be denied jobs until they get it from the local urząd miasta. Signs are showing that more Poles intend to claim JSA as getting a job can be a time-consuming process. When they register, it will place some strain on the state
