Noimmigration, there is no evidence in ur article linking the Poles to this predicament. Waiting lists were a problem long b4 the entry of the Poles. The Conservatives made a right royal stuff of things. As I've mentioned b4, we have numerous forms available from post offices that allow for free treatment. If I can receive free treatment as I did in Poland, then why can't it work the same in reverse? It's a RECIPROCAL agreement, mutual benefits etc.

Food / Polish Eating Habits [87]

They eat out less than other countries I guess. Poles love staple foods like potatoes, veggies etc and can make some really good food at home. The tradition of producing quality home cooking is well established here in Poland. Also, the money factor. Going to milk bars and eating the food they like is still quite popular but not to expensive places unless they are business people.

Love / Polish girls attitudes towards sex. [568]

They like it just like women from other countries do. There may be some repression here but I can't comment any more on that

Love / The age of consent in Poland is only 15 [147]

I agree with shewolf. It's all well and good giving States individual law-making powers but when they don't lead to convergence with other States then there's incongruence. I found the same when I was looking at the death penalty which is by no means uniformally applied. The point remains that academic arguments are just that and reality will always show that girls/boys have sex just as they enter teenage. Nobody in their right mind could propose a police sex patrol, hehehe. 'Ah, good evening ma'am, I was just wondering if ur daughter was being boned by a minor tonight.' 'Hmm..let me go and check 4 u officer.' AIN"T gonna happen!!

Fish and chips, the stuff of legends. The links courses are a joy to play. Aberdeen Kings Links is a good course, a bit too open but still challenging. The course in Inverness looks classy. I'd love to play Balgownie or Murcar, they are top notch courses with some very famous names behind them, Jack Nicklaus being just one. Tom Watson once commented on how much he enjoyed playing at Balgownie. The Americans have a great appreciation for golf in Scotland. I imagine Troon and Carnoustie would be hellish tough. I guess one difference is that we don't have quite as many greens with electrifying pace which is good. No Kiawah Island stuff

MISS list 1) Butteries, other parts of Scotland say rowies. Crispy or puffy, both are great

2) Irn-Bru, Poland has Oranżada but it's just not the same, good as it is

3) Colman's mustard, the Poles have some great mustards but not Colman

4) Macaroni cheese

5) The golf courses

6) Match of the Day

7) Macaroon

8) Oor Wullie

9) Worcestershire sauce and salt and vinegar crips. Crisps generally

10) Scampi and fresh haddock

It looks like Londonguy is off to play the skin flute after all. Americans and many other nations love the bagpipes. It is an amazing instrument. It isn't Scottish in origin but we have successfully adopted it. It's associated with us internationally.

News / The New World Order and Poland's place [50]

"Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely". I seem to recall it was Lord Acton who said this. Poland's place in the New World Order is just like that of many other countries, subservient and redundant unless they can prove their worth in some way. Both Russia and America have shown their preferences for hegemony.

That'd probably suit many Scots just fine. Don't even work? Hehehe, yeah right sunshine!! The English moan left, right and centre about any darned thing. Braveheart showed that u had the superior numbers but we still came close to tanning ur hides. We have every reason to be proud of our country. London, u r even disliked by most of your fellow English

Noimmigration has a point here!! I know that, in Scotland, some couples used to have 4 children but 2 seems to be the maximum these days for fear of running out of cash. The social system has been put to the sword somewhat and people who pay NI contributions feel worried. I can tell noimmigration that many Poles are becoming more aware of registration processes. 3 million Poles, over half the population of Scotland, haven't renewed/updated their ID cards which they MUST do or face imprisonment. They can't get credit and will be denied jobs until they get it from the local urząd miasta. Signs are showing that more Poles intend to claim JSA as getting a job can be a time-consuming process. When they register, it will place some strain on the state

Food / Polish Eating Habits [87]

There is also a tendency to eat sunflower seeds like there's no tomorrow at football games. The covers are just thrown to the ground.
