Classifieds / Polish domiciliary carer worker in Bromley area [20]

very good Iwanka, nice bit of backtracking.
If I am "oversensitive" it is because of people like you and their endless silly comments.
No I do not think it better to 'moan moan moan' than work. Thank you.

I am not sure why you are so angry.

actually Iwanka you have p.issed me off with your comments.
You have said that English are too lazy to work and then tried to wriggle out of it.
It is not about 'assumptions' but reading between the lines.
Pointing that out is not 'moan moan moan'.

- I understand in your opinion it is better to do nothing and moan, moan moan instead of doing some job?

oh now you know about my opinions do you? I see.
I am not 'moaning' just pointing out that this job is looking for women to exploit. It might even be a front for prostitution, and Londoners are smart enough to see that. You too could be smart one day if you keep working on it, instead of being rude and insulting.

yes that is offensive. English are not 'work shy', thank you.
Just cannot afford to do such low paid work and have no wish to be exploited.
You know very well why this organisation is recruiting only Polish women (and it will be women) is so that they can be exploited and underpaid.

The only people who could do such a low paid job are those living five to a room.

oh for goodness sake Jon, does it matter that much?
This is obviously a Polish company who wants Polish workers.
I cannot get that riled up about it to be honest.

UK, Ireland / Polish in Britain - will I get decked if I speak Polish to these people? [63]

Where else have I slaughtered (your words, not mine) English language?

perhaps not you personally RR; sadly our language lacks a 'youse'...:D
Anyway it is not our fault you chose to surround yourself with rednecks in some backward hickville, now is it?
If someone chooses to practice their few words of Polish on you, take it as a compliment.

personally- i find it a bit pathetic and incredibly patronising when someone tries to speak "Czesc, jak sie masz?" in Polish to me

they are just trying to be funny or polite or to break the ice - if you have a problem with that, then you are really a bit sad.

English speakers are forced to listen to people mashing up their language constantly - is that 'incredibly patronising'? no, just somebody trying to get by and be friendly.

Love / Polish mother of my child - 'No money, no daughter' - ADVICE NEEDED [46]

I agree with Lenka.
If you had been serious about being a father, you would have insisted on having your name on the birth cert.
From what you have said, you were in Poland for the birth and refused to sign? Is that right? That must have been a horrible time for your ex, having a child with a man who refused to put his name to it.

So now your daughter has a line through 'father's name', right? That is not very nice for her is it?
Sorry but if you had been less selfish in the first place, you wouldnt be in this situation now.

I mean the way you have described it does make her sound like a calculating greedy biatch. However I am sure if she described it, it would be quite a different story, and that the truth would be somewhere in the middle.

Also the loss of your first child probably affected you deeply in ways that you were not able to acknowledge.

UK, Ireland / Why English do not like Polish? [417]

fact, if we weren't here, the English would have to get off their lazy butts because they wouldn't receive benefits. Of

you know what just feck off with that pernicious bulshyte.
the only reason Polish can take those low paid jobs is because they live ten to a room, and you know it.
Of course the English are not 'lazy' - if anyone is, it is the Polish and that is why their country is so messed up.

History / 60th anniversary of the Poznan uprising! [60]

Like I am automatically an Irish citizen....because a parent was born there.
