I'd say if you were to ask random polish people about Japan you wouldn't get many sensible answers either...

Taking into the consideration of knowing where countries are in the world as a MUST at school, and Japan as an known and "respected" country. I wouldn't be surpsied if they said it lies on a Island beteen China and USA wich isn't correct since it's on 4 islands. But heck they know somehow where it is.

You get the chance of "having" ancesters from Poland yet you wish to have em from Russia... OMG

It's far more chance that the family had some Lithuanian, Belarussian or Ukrainian interbreeding.

If people from poland are called poles then why aren't people from holland called holes???:D

Becaouse
1. Holland is not Holand
2. English didn't really see the difference between Dutch and Germans (Thankgod for the Wikings, or it would happen with Scandinavians aswell)
3. If not for the German kulturkampf it would been something else :)
4. Poles love to put up a Polish flag on a pole on a top of a hill (Monte Cassino for instance)

Don't know about behavior, I thought that was more or like what family backround you have? But with language speed in Warsaw they speak fast!

I speak "Warsawian" Polish and whne I speak Polish with my sister and some Norwegians hears it, well often they say "Why do you speak so fast and arguing?" xD

Colour I say don't have that much importance. You use not very popular symbols, well don't think you get easy with it.

I was reading once that a Norwegian student got attacked by a bunch of hooligans , it was just right after a football match with Germany (Poland lost 0-2 or something)

They beated crap out of since he spoke a bit Norwegian or something and looked Germanic.
People can get wrong, can happen anybody.

Same if wear a Chiveguera shirt or something, if it wasn't for my peacefull nature I would ripped the shirt off any passing guy who uses it ;(

I generally agree upon mass immigration to Poland. If they want to enter that place let them try, they will leave it eventually but the huge problem is that many of them may return :S

I am a patriot so I see no reason why Poles can orange, green, brown, black, yellow or even snow white! (albinoes etc)

It's not the SKIn that counts it's the culture! The soul!
When I look at an man with dark skin I think Africa slavery, misery with dictators etc....
I don't think sub-human or dispeceable or something like that...

I look at FACTS!
and if some says why you think slavery etc. well it was something like that and I don't like it.

Once upon a time Mr. Grunwald travelled to Poland on a vecation, he went to Zakopane as a little and after some days of skiing (WTH is the word?!) he saw somethign on a table near him. They looked like some crackers/biscuits/cookies so he bought one. When he tasted it he got a wierd face. It wasn't dry. It was plastic like! Then he went back home with an new rule. Never buy oscypki!
