Europe was pretty anti semitic before Hitler.
Poland was one of the few countries that historically welcomed Jews along with Great Britain.
But,as is happening now with many Muslims in Europe,the majority of Jews in central europe were not properly integrated,which caused problems later....I am not pointing the finger of blame at anyone,but Hitler,as many European and American politicians are doing today,could see that the politicians were ignoring the people and took and are currently taking advantage of the situation for their own political gain.
If you cannpt see that then you are truly blind.....

Anti semitism was rife in Europe before Hitler came to power.He just harnessed and heightened that hatred.

I will also add that,besides being hard working and generally quite well off,Indians are very peaceful.I live in an area dominated by Indians and Poles and you rarely get much trouble or crime from Indians.

When I first started reading this forum,even before I started posting.
I thought that the main three female posters on here were "The voices of reason",namely you,Kaprys and Rozumiemnic.
Yeah,some of the guys were pretty good too,but it took me a while to work out who is what etc.....a work still in progress.
But you have disapointed me the most,you are not at all what I thought.Nice,sensible Irish lady,married to a Pole and living in Warsaw.
You are probably all those things,but your judgement is terrible.....
First you accused me of being American.....which even you must see now as a mistake....then you accuse me of being a troll.....hopefully time will show you that you are wrong for a second time.

I was there,I saw it,I heard The Poles refer to Indians as "Kropek" and Indians calling Poles "Ben Chod".There were even a couple of scuffles at first.But they all get on fine now and Poles that have come in since that first batch don't have a problem because they have already been told by The Poles here before them that The Indians are OK.
But continue to live in your dream world if you like.

When Poles first started coming to The UK there were some problem between Poles and Indians.
But as time moved on and they got to know each other better they got on fine,even learning words of each other's languages.(Mainly the bad words!)
It's just the initial shock of something new and unknown and works both ways.
In time both sides learn that we are all the same deep down despite our differences.

Many years ago a friend of mine was on a bus in Krakow with a friend of his.
When an African gentleman got on and sat close to them.
My friends friend made a slightly rude comment about the African in Polish.
Only for the African gentleman to turn to him and tell him off in perfect Polish!

I am sure you are discreet about your sexuality in India.If you do the same in Poland you will be fine.
The strange looks you may get will have nothing to do with your sexuality and everything to do with your skin complexion.
Non whites are still fairly rare in many parts of Poland.
